Welcome to League Lofts 201ā€“ a stylish and spacious two bedroom loft just steps from all the hot spots in downtown Galveston. The primary bedroom features a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. Combined with the full sleeper sofa in the living room, this unit comfortably sleeps up to 5 people. Whether youā€™re looking to spend time on The Strand, the beach, or a quick overnight before a cruise departure, this loft is the perfect home base for your trip.

Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from cruise ship terminal.

Beach access: Less than a 4 minute drive from the beaches at the Seawall.

Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet policy: One pet is welcome with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if youā€™re planning on bringing your furry friend!

- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Paid street parking only.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

Comfortable, clean and convenient
We only stayed one night. Left on a cruise the next morning. Very comfortable beds. Everything was clean, just as you would expect it. Beautiful, old building.But if youā€™re looking for a place where you can get a good nightā€™s sleep, this may not it. The unit we were in was right at the top of the only stairs in the building on the second floor. There is absolutely no soundproofing. We could hear every step that anyone took up and down the stairs all night long.If it had been quieter, I could see us coming back for an extended stay.

We decided to head down to Galveston for a short stay. I found the property and it was in a perfect spot near the Strand. It is a historic building that has been perfectly updated. Host was responsive to questions and helpful. Highly recommend, will book again.

Great stay pre-cruise!
We booked this stay for one night prior to our cruise. The location really canā€™t be beat. We were able to walk to the strand to party it up and the following day we walked to the cruise terminal with our luggage. We are four fit & able adults so the stairs didnā€™t bother us (elevator was out of service). One thing to note is that the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms, so we had to coordinate for four adults getting ready. Also, the couch was full of animal hair, which was a huge turn off to me. I didnā€™t notice until I was sitting on it the morning of our departure so I didnā€™t inform the property owner for resolution. They had everything Overall I think this a great stay

Perfect Location!
Super cute spot and absolutely the perfect location for being able to park the car and walk to all the downtown locations and The Strand! We visited nearby restaurant spots for cofffe, lunch, dinner, and cocktails! We strictly used the location for laying our heads down at night and get a little rest in between outings. The only things I would say was not good was in the evening when we were trying to sleep (not early either). The floors were old and I loved that BUT whoever was the floor above us walked constantly for what seemed like hours pacing and the floors creaked and cracked and made it nearly impossible to get good sleep. And the second which wasnā€™t a deal breaker for us was the furniture in the living space wasnā€™t comfortable for lounging or relaxing. We were on the go so much it really didnā€™t matter. However, if plans including tv watching or sitting and lounging. Not the best conditions for that. Would I return? Yes- but maybe ask for the top floor! The location was the BEST!

Great stay post Beryl
Our family hesitated to continue our stay since we were booked four days post Beryl. However, the company kept in communication to let us know that all was checking out at the VRBO and we were welcome to stay. We loved the historical building and the proximity to Restaurants and stores and bars near the Strand was wonderful and we walked everywhere. The amenities were perfect for our family of four. It covered everything we would need for our stay. I loved the option to use the bicycles in the lobby, but we had a six-year-old who wouldnā€™t fit on them so we didnā€™t use them, but it was a great option to have. Everything was clean. The only small thing I can say is that we were on the first floor and you can hear everything above you. And for whatever reason, whoever was staying above us did not share the same schedule as us and it made quite a bit of noise while we were sleeping. So suggestion is to get something on the top floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for this great family vacation!
