I didn’t rate the bar and restaurant very highly, the food was average and service could have been better. It was difficult to know whether there was table service or whether it was expected that meals be ordered at the bar. Overall not a very comfortable place for a solo traveller.

Hotel is in a great location. Its a little worn. Included breakfast ok but not special. Room small and view of some back alley garbage. But staff was pleasant and as mentioned, great location to visit Galway.

The hotel is conveniently located right off of Eyre Square which was great. The breakfast and service was excellent. The one major flaw was that to get to our room, we had to pass through the bar/dining area, up a stairs as there was no lift. We had our baby with us so this was less that convenient with his stroller each time we entered and exited the premises. Our baby was on our booking so I think it could have been planned more appropriately by the hotel. We still had a pleasant stay and won't let this deter us from coming back.

The hotel is fine, the rooms are very small compared to most US based hotel rooms. The adjoining pub/restaurant was nice. The breakfast was very limited, but it wasn’t very crowded so maybe they didn’t go overboard with food.

Location of the property is great. Breakfast was good. The noise from our room was horrible from morning to night. You can hear rooms above & below as well as doors slamming. It makes sleeping very difficult & staff had no solutions

The hotel is super conveniently located, but we were under the impression there would be laundry machines available when we booked. It was just a laundry service which didn't work for us. Not awful, just be prepared!

The hotel rooms are very dirty and run down. It was very musty in the hotel (prob from lack of AC), the showers are dirty and filled with mold, the sink was broken and cracked, the headboard was also ripped apart, the tv did not work, there was no mirror over the only plug in the hotel room… also no plugs in the bathroom. The housekeepers did not clean our rooms at all, pretty sure they didn’t even change the sheets but would just make the bed. Would never visit again and was very expensive for the quality of the room.

The hotel staff (front desk, bar, and cleaning) were all very helpful and enjoyable to work with. The attached bar was a real find serving excellent food and of course drinks. The only thing to slightly complain about was the single rather slow lift. But nothing wrong with the stairs!
