With over 20 wineries less than 10 minutes away there's no shortage of good food and drink nearby. Come home and enjoy the stars in the country sky, the calm of 16 secluded acres, and quality time in the spacious living areas.
The Space:
You'll be staying in an authentic 19th Century farmhouse sitting on 16 acres that has been updated throughout the years but still maintains a lot of its original character. It also has plenty of quirks, so please understand that the house is by no means perfect, but we think you'll find that it adds to the charm and experience. The home is decorated with real antiques but furnished with modern pieces to ensure your comfort.
We've got enough space for up to 13 people across 9 beds in 5 bedrooms, plus the largest couch you've probably ever seen and a gigantic live-edge dining table to accommodate the entire crew. The kitchen is fully stocked if you decide to stay home and cook, and the deck and front porch are great places to relax and breathe the country air. You'll even find a little coffee nook in the second floor foyer where you can start your morning or enjoy a glass a wine before heading out for the evening.

The Neighborhood:
You'll be in a relatively sparsely populated area with plenty of privacy. The lots are large and the neighbors are pretty far away and keep to themselves. It's a pretty great place to get away from it all.
Getting Around:
You're in a pretty rural area so driving is typically the best option. There are several local providers of wine tours and party buses if that's your scene. Sunset Taxi is a good alternative for those who don't want to drive.
Other Things to Note:
It's very important that you understand that you will be in the country! It's possible that you will encounter wildlife at some point during your stay. We do not give refunds for wildlife encounters, whether they occur inside or outside the house. Embrace the country life!

Beware
Renter beware… I booked this home for a two-night stay with 7 of my friends for a fun girl’s weekend away. The cleaner was there until 5pm (check-in 4pm). Mark (the host) emailed me as we were pulling up stating that the home ran on well water (not disclosed in the listing) & the water was low. There would be a plumber coming by in the morning to fill the tank. We ran out of water by 10pm. No plumber arrived until 12:30pm the next day in which he informed us the tank is too small to accommodate 8 let alone 13 ppl. There are 8 of us staying here, you could only imagine. The team was not great at keeping us updated throughout this process. We had running water by 1pm. I had asked prior to our stay if there was a fire pit and they told me firewood was provided, they had 2 logs available. When I emailed them (since no phone number was provided) he told me the cleaner would drop it off and then 2 hours after that he emailed me with directions to Giant Eagle. Never did bring the firewood during our stay. . Aesthetically the inside of the house is nice, but the basement was filled with mold and mildew and crumbling walls (found this out when they asked me to troubleshoot the water problem). The outside is run down, weeds and dirt piles. No seating unless you grab the plastic chairs from the fire pit. The hot tub was nice. The home has potential but they really need to step up their game for what they are currently asking for $$$. We were highly disappointed with our stay.

This place is a real 10!
Short 3 day stay. Everything was perfect. We had everything we could have possibly wanted. The bed was so comfortable with lovely linens. Special kudos to the cleaning crew….the place is spotlessly clean! We highly recommend! The stay was seamless.
