My partner and I decided to visit this place to relax for the weekend. The pictures of the property seemed lovely, however the stay was less than desirable. The room had a certain smell. The bed was old and the mattress was super uneven. Bathroom smelled awful. We decided to take a look at the amenities and the pool and whirlpool were dirty. Water was cold on both and the whirlpool did not work. They had a note posted in the wall saying that basically it never works and won’t be fixed so you sit in a cold tub with staggered water. Food and drinks were overpriced and lacked quality, plus everything closes at 9 PM. Truly disappointed. I will not recommend.

Bed and bathroom were clean. Room was smaller than expected. Needs a bit of upkeeping in certain areas but overall not bad. The pool and hot tub water is murky and smells stale. The hot tub does not have jets. They had a sign that it was for “relaxation purposes.” The towels they provide at front desk for pool usage are quite worn. Location is beautiful. There is a private beach and lots of outdoor activities included at no extra charge. Would be great for warmer weather.

Spiders in every corner in the room, balcony we no lock and instead putting a wood stick to block it, balcony outside also got spiders in everywhere you look. Restaurant menu is limited to 4 mains, pool is very small. Overall the view is amazing, staff is super friendly and nice but the property is the issue.

Airconditioning wasn't working & the room temperature rose to 25.5C. Luckily it got cooler at night and the room became more comfortable with the window open. The attendant showed up immediately when informed of the problem, but couldn't fix the issue. Gave a funny excuse but that's okay.

the view was great, lakeside. had a bunch of facilities but did not get a chance to use them. but did use the hot tub, which was cold and functions did not work. wanted to use sauna but it was outdoor which i thought was inconvenient. room was very small considering what i paid and the pictures provided definitely is deceiving. my room also had a balcony, but its shared throught the second floor and not individual. the tv in the room did not work, didnt bother to call guest services to configure it. the room and bathroom floor could be cleaner. i booked a queen bed but the bed was definitely not a queen size. i think the room should get a refresh as well.

Some areas of the property could use a bit of a facelift. The docks need a little bit of attention. The room was clean and comfortable. The water sports equipment was easily accessible and nice to have. Outdoor games were fun to play. Beach area was nice. The indoor pool was nice. The food at the restaurant was very good and service was good. The staff at the front desk was helpful and friendly.

Not a place to stay.
The reviews and photos were not true to what we received. Rooms were small with bare necessities. The walls were thin and you can hear lots of noise from the halls. We feel we over paid and this place should only be rated as a 3 star. Beach was full of weeds and you could not swim at all. Paddle boats were not functional in the water. Hot tub was out of order. Towels for the pool were thin and was told we could only have one. Didn't eat at their restaurant, we didn't hear good things about it. Overall we were very disappointed with the Best Western franchise.

A great mini-weekend getaway for 2. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved the access to all the recreational equipment, played some tennis, and went kayaking and canoeing. We also enjoyed the beach and bonfire every night.

Our room was an adjoining room and the person beside us had their tv on loud. Called front desk to help and no one helped. Wall was paper thin could hear everything… On site restaurant was terrible!! The bar tender couldn’t make mixed drinks and was extremely expensive. Just wanted a quick getaway which was a fail. I would not recommend. Front desk staff were terrific at check in.
