Charming stop over
The old post office is comfortable and the hosts very welcoming. I enjoyed the antiques and history of the property and I was overwhelmed with supplies provided for both myself and my chihuahua. Safe and exciting property for dogs. Great stop over close to M1. Recommended.

Hidden highway gem!
We had a wonderful stopover at the old Post Office. The accommodation is a beautiful period property just off the highway that is VERY dog-friendly and filled with old world charm. The host, Deb, is amazing and made the stay very enjoyable. We will be back again!

Ghinni ghinni spacious 4 room historical cottage
Wonderful comfortable stay with everything you could need including an air fryer, homemade, home grown pumpkin soup and a well stocked first aid kit, all of which we made use of. Our Border Collie was in heaven with plenty of green grass to run around on and doggie treats. We slept incredibly well in the very comfortable bed. Delicious brekky incl farm eggs. Very interesting storybooks on the history of the property and about good places to go locally. We will be returning.

Disappointing stay
Cottage was very generous with supplies left, including treats and a warm welcome for our dog. The cottage runs parallel to the Princes Highway and the trucks run all night so it was very noisy. There was no hot water so we had to wash dishes in cold water and we were not able to have a warm (or hot) shower. Overall a disappointing stay.

Conveniently located cottage
We stayed for 3 days with our little dachshund. The pet area was very sweet and Deb had ensured that not only were we provided with a well stocked fridge for our b&b experience but she also ensured our dog had treats. The food was very much appreciated. We spent full days exploring both the beautiful coastal areas and inland towns and farms. It was fantastic having so many dog friendly beaches. The cottage was thoughtfully and thoroughly kitted out and attention to detail in furnishings added character and charm. We cooked meals and found everything we needed. There is noise from the highway, but we were only there during the evenings and night. It was conveniently located for day tripping.

Tired? Hungry? Deserve pampering? Look no further..
From the moment you arrive and step onto the porch of this ridiculously beautiful building, you are transported to a time past (without the yukky inconvenient bits). While inside is a jewellery box, ready to be revealed, outside also is a gem, with gentle beasties meandering in the adjacent field, separated by LOTR type trees. And wait until you see these in a sunset - wowza! Beautiful place, beautiful host, beautiful food. And try to stay more than one night, so you can really take time to experience the cottage, its history and it's new life, for which you are now a part!

History alive, with new life
What a privilege to stay in a building which has so lovingly been restored and moved to another important site, but is enriched with the care and consideration of new ownership - carefully and thoughtfully decorating throughout, yet also providing small yet important items for use by guests (you'll discover these for yourself!) This is a very beautiful, cosy, pristine, warm, inviting cottage, made more so by the host. And to be able to have our dawg with us is absolutely marvellous! Oh, and the home made treats - ooh lala! Make sure you buy some to take home/onward.

We stayed overnight on our way up the north coast. The cottage was made up so welcoming for us and our little dogs, with a lovely self cook breakfast hamper and a great space for the doggies to explore around the cottage the next morning.

Warm welcome to charming Old Post Office
Great for Bruno and human parents. We love the special treats at the doggy corner. We explored the old school playground and enjoyed the swing under the tree and the unusual gum tree with green branches Corymbia torelliana. The breakfast hamper included ham and fresh eggs which were appreciated along with the fresh finger limes from the garden complemented our pasta dish for dinner.
