It is very next to the airport. So it is excellent for transfer and want to relax instead travel to other places to jsut stay overnight.

My Overnight Stay
My stay was very nice. I had a flight scheduled for the next day out of FCO in Rome. This hotel is attached to the airport. So convenient.

This is the only hotel with direct access to the airport, but it is a long walk away - 5 slidewalks, of which at least one is not working at any given time - plus an elevator and covered outside walk. That's the convenience you pay extra for compared with the Hilton Garden Inn at 2/3 the price and a 5-minute shuttle away. The breakfast buffet is superb, but outrageously expensive unless you pay in advance as part of your room rate when booking (10 euro per person versus 24 euro). Showing the hotel's age, the only electrical outlets in the rooms are on far side of the room from the bed - a big issue for anyone travelling with a CPAP machine. There are no USB outlets for those who don't have transformer. The toilet was sticky (sometimes running/refusing to flush properly), and toilet paper was not refilled when the room was cleaned, requiring a call to the front desk. The gym is good, but the sauna and steam rooms cost extra, and the promised hot tub no longer exists. (There is now just a round inlet from the pool sharing the same cold water). The staff are a mixed bag. Front desk was excellent, and the waiter at the bar helpful in opening a bottle of wine when we found no corkscrew in the room. But the gym attendant brusquely told us we couldn't use the pool without a bathing cap - and didn't tell us he could sell us one for a euro until we pressed him on a second visit.

Property needs renovation. Everything old and tired. Our roomā€™s bathroom sink wobbled severely, where we were worried it was going to fall off. This is the worst Hilton property Iā€™ve stayed at ever. The STAFF were super nice. They deserve a better facility!

In summary, Finding the hotel - I walked from T3. At one point the signs to ā€œHotelā€ ended. I had to hope I was heading in the right direction. I did not feel safe as it was not well lit. This could be improved for everyoneā€™s safety. Check in - too long and too complicated. I arrived late at night 10.30pm and there was a large queue. Maybe put on more staff to get people checked in quickly?? Managers should be looking at this and assisting staff in this. Room - lovely and comfortable. Very clean. Breakfast - amazing choice. Friendly staff.

One night stopover review
The hotel was fine and its proximity to the airport made it the perfect place to stay. Rooms were dated but with the throughput we didnā€™t expect 5 star treatment. Room was more like a travel lodge/ premier inn. Shabby in places and toilet door did not close, but the bed was fine and room tidy. We eat in the restaurant and the food was good but service and wait was a shambles. Supply and demand means the price was extortionate for what was offered. I probably stay again for a - night before a flight but wouldnā€™t bother with food. Slightly disappointed

The room was clean - which was good. The bed was comfortable. The walk to the airport was not far. The hotel was wholly unprepared for dinner / snacks / drinks at the restaurant the night we were there. Would think they could use the hotel reservations to help dictate staffing levels in the bar / restaurant - but they did not. Could not get a drink or a dinner in less than 40 minutes each.

Location, Location, Location!!
We stayed at this hotel because of the location. We walked to the airport from the hotel in the enclosed walkway. It was a 10 minute walk - but the hotel staff did find us a cart for our luggage. The hotel lobby and room were very warm. This is definitely just a 1 night stay. Would not have stayed here if it wasnā€™t for an early morning flight the next day.
