Booked online , upon arrival the receptionist was less than impressed that we did this and told us that our room would be the closest to the road , not a drama as we had saved $100 on the walk in price ! The room was tidy and the bed was great , the toilet door was hanging by one slider and was impossible to close and traffic noise was tolerable, just ! Not the worst stay however next time in Gisbourne we will be staying elsewhere

The shower was over the bath and there was no safety rail for getting in and out. Elderly people and children could easily slip and hurt themselves.
