Nice house
We had a family reunion and celebrated my wife’s birthday. The home had a chair left which was very beneficial. The overall cleanliness was not very good.

Nice home, but needs clear communication
Overall, the home was nice and spacious. It was a quick trip to the park, beach, and stores. However, I wish it would’ve been communicated more that it was someone’s home at some point. There were men’s underwear hanging in the garage. A load of towels in the washer and dryer that should’ve been done prior to our arrival. There was little to no soap and no toilet paper. Which is not a big deal, but when traveling with children really would’ve been nice to know before we got there. The house could definitely use a little more cleaning in between guests.

Somebody always watching
First, I just want to state the house is beautiful and very spacious. The neighborhood was wonderful and the area was great. The house needs a good cleaning. We found a dirty sock waiting for us in the main bathroom. The floors were dirty and the rugs could use a washing and the carpet could use a steam clean. We found pet urine in the family room by the deck. The shower liner was moldy. The neighbor, also guest contact, went into the garage behind the house daily, which made us feel like we were being watched. On our last full day there he decided to mow the lawn, do some weeding, and in the process smooshed our dogs pet waste, which made it difficult to pick it up. He also flagged each one, which was unnecessary, since we were leaving the following day and we’re going to pick it all up. We ended up having to leave because it was too loud and my plans to get in the hot tub had to change. We were not notified anywhere on the contract that maintenance was to take place on that day so we could’ve made other arrangements. I could see him right outside the window on the riding mower. We could only take 2 hours of it before we had to leave and hope he’d be done by the time we got back. The owners personal belongings did not bother us. I did contact Evolve about this but nothing was done. They need a new ckeaning service and new guest contact.

Great place in a convenient location.
Overall we would give the place a 5, but there are some things that might be helpful for people to know. 1. The first picture shown is of the water and sand. I assumed that was a view from the house which is incorrect. The house is close to the water, but not steps. More like down the block and across the street. 2. The owners do live in the house during times it is not rented. Their personal belongings are around the house. Not a big deal, but some people might be uncomfortable with this. 3. The little garage behind the house appears to be shared with the neighbors, so we had neighbors in the yard a couple of different days. The neighbors are friendly and stayed out of the way. We met with our kids from all over the midwest and south and the place accommodated us all nicely. We love to cook though and would recommend bringing a large frying pan, but everything else was available!

Great overall stay
Great overall stay! Comfortably fit our family of 7. The kitchen had coffee, spices, pans and a crock pot for all your cooking needs. Hot tub and sauna was a big hit after a long day of exploring! We also enjoyed playing a few board games they had there. Just an fyi beach and skate park are 1 mile away not in the backyard and owner has a few items of there own in the home that was a little off setting. But other then that was still a great stay! Would stay again!

Hot tub didn't work and owners wouldn't work woth us on it. Had to go thru the booking agency. Beware their maintenance guy is their older neighbor. Found dead fish in a sink, spent a lot of time emailing owner about all the damaged stuff we found. Just our trip felt ruined.

Girls weekend
Very nice quite neighborhood, house was older but very well maintained and had some updates. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. It had many handicap accessible features with a stair lift, we didn’t need them but they are there for those that do. Stairlift took up a lot of space so not so easy to get suitcases up and down.

We were in town for a family wedding and this house was perfect. A little trouble with stopped up sinks and one was taken care of promptly but no major problem. The fall colors were absolutely outstanding and the view of the backyard and park behind the house was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy home for long weekend
This home is spacious and cozy. We enjoyed a Girls Weekend of Mom, Daughters and Granddaughters. There are games & puzzles, but with the warm fall days, we spent a good deal of time outside. Plenty of dishes for cooking our meals at the house. But the house needs a good, deep clean. And the amenities need to be checked before rentals. There were four empty propane tanks so we couldn't use the gas grill or the fire pit. And it was disappointing that the hot tub didn't work as we had perfect evenings to enjoy it. Our host did try to get someone to come and look at it but couldn't get someone over the weekend. The fire pit and hot tub were really missed on our weekend getaway.

Place was nice. Three bedrooms with beds. One had it's own toilet and shower. The other two shared bathroom shower. Then there were two bigger rooms with couches and a day bed. William slept in that room. Not a big deal but if there is more than three people staying there the fourth person doesn't have his own personal room.

Excellence in the UP!
This property was wonderful! Plenty of space for everyone in our group (10 Adults) and a fantastic and well equipped Kitchen to prepare all our large meals. The Gladstone location was great base for us to explore the western UP and provided views of Little Bay de Noc from the large deck (great for morning coffee)! The hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of activities. We loved it and will likely return in the future.
