Staff could be a little more attentive to customers. Pool and gym are always crowded as it’s not exclusive fly for the use of hotel guests but open to genera public. Other than the science museum there is not much to do around that area. Overall the experience was OK

Unreliable do not expect stay here
Appalling service! Booked room (payment in advance) in May for visit in August. Arrived after terrible journey from the south. After fighting our way through Glasgow traffic in heavy rain found that hotel was fully Booked and we had been moved to another hotel in the other side of the Clyde. All This was after a courtesy call asking what time we we going to arrive! Offered a taxi to take us there but after 15 mins wait, we decided to drive ourselves and hope there was space in other hotel’s carpark. Luckily there was! Will not stay at village hotel chain again!

Worst hotel ever
The room was very moistly carpet dirty aunts everywhere in the rooms service very poor breakfast absolutely non touchable coffee is bad food is bad and the hotel demanded me an extra £450 to pay on top the tax that I already have paid I will not recommend this hotel to anyone their hard earned cash we felt very uncomfortable literally I was looking for another hotel to move in to for the remaining few days we have left of our vacation very disappointing and never again 👎

The Village is a nice place in a great location. The rooms for a family of 4 with 2 double beds is small and there is no mini fridge but there is a Starbucks and the pub food is really good. The pool is great too but be advised they will make you go in with your kids bc it’s 4ft deep everywhere. Would stay again
