This was an absolutely charming location and place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and large. The staff were great! Very little English is spoken so be prepared. The hotel entrance is opposite the restaurant entrance which confused us when we tried to check in. The food is excellent!! I cannot wait to go back!!

This place is great. Not a chain type hotel. This is the type of hotel you think of when you want a great German vacation. A lot of personal attention located in a great spot. Don't pass up a chance to book here if you're in the area. You will not be disappointed!!

Authentic Black Forest hotel. East to park and check in. Rooms were nice as was hostess and breakfast. Donā€™t go for the doner kabob place down the street they tried to scam us. No reflection on the hotel. Great people at the hotel.

We had a lovely 2 nights at this hotel. The staff were always courteous and friendly. Very clean rooms. Bathrooms a little small but usable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were both fantastic. We would stay here again.

Perfect Spot in the Black Forest
Picture perfect Our junior sute with balcony facing the church and window looking out to the vineyards was perfect. We had a lovely dinner German food and local wine. Totally amazing Beds are comfortable and king size in our room. Towels good sized and nice shower. Good water pressure and warm Breakfast huge and many selections.

Toll gefĆ¼hrtes historisches Hotel, mit sehr freundlichem Personal, die Betten waren sehr bequem und es war sehr sauber. Das FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck war hervorragend, es gab frisch zubereitete RĆ¼hr- und Spiegeleier. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und brachte auch, was wir wĆ¼nschten. Auch war alles gut zu FuƟ erreichbar im Untertal (Rewe z.B.) Die Zimmer waren freundlich und sauber, wenn auch mal wieder die vergilbten Gardinen gewaschen werden kƶnnten und andere Kopfkissen, die Nackenfreundlicher, zur VerfĆ¼gung gestellt werden kƶnnten. Sonst war aber alles fine auf den Zimmern. Jedoch waren wir sehr enttƤuscht vom FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck (kein stilles Wasser, nur Schweinefleisch, gekochtes Ei noch halb flĆ¼ssig, RĆ¼herei schmeckte mehr nach Ɩl als nach Ei, wir durften den Tisch nicht selbst wƤhlen, Kaffee schmeckte gar nicht). Auch konnten wir nicht gut schlafen. Der Balkon war schƶn mit netter Aussicht, jedoch am spƤten Abend klapperte es stƤndig und es wurde lauter gesprochen vom KĆ¼chenpersonal. was ein und aus ging in der NƤhe unseres Balkons. Nachts ging zudem ein Generator. Es war also nicht so ruhig, wie gedacht. Nichts desto trotz haben wir die Zeit sonst genossen uns sind durch die schƶne Landschaft gewandert.
