Not the greatest choice
On paper the property looked perfect. However, the proximity to OOL Airport meant that we were woken every morning at 0600 hrs when flights resumed after overnight curfew ended. The carport space allocated to Apartment #2 is extremely narrow and neccessitated retracting wing mirrors to enter without risk of damage, and frequently difficult to reverse out due to the positioning of other residents vehicles, in one case making a 5-point turn necessary. Within the unit we reported both the coffee machine and toaster were defective on Monday 25th March having checked in the previous afternoon and attempted to use both for breakfast on Monday. We expected them both to be repaired/replaced before Good Friday but sadly this did not occur. There is a hazardous step-down from the living area to the enclosed balcony. I almost crashed through the window on the Monday as a result of missing the step. It should be marked with high-vis paint to prevent such potential accidents occuring. An adjacent coir mat has a proud corner sticking up, also hazardous. After Uber pickup at 0345 hrs Sunday 31st March in order to catch the 0615 JQ167 flight to Wellington NZ we were flabergasted and annoyed to receive a phone call at home in NZ from Erica at around 1530 AEST/1830 NZST asking if we had left any luggage behind as the cleaner had reported luggage in the apartment sometime after 1000 checkout time. Why hadn't efforts been made to contact the new tenants instead of pointing the finger at us!

Crazy notes everywhere
The property is labelled within an inch of its life. There are ‘important notices’ taped to every surface and item: the tap, the milk frother, the TVs, the washing machine, the bathroom fan, the shower, the blinds, the internet modem, cupboards, furniture, lights, bathroom counter. The result is that you simply cannot relax and you definitely do not feel welcome. You should never stay anywhere and feel like the property owner is a hysterical person barely clinging on to a sane existence. Deeply unsettling.

We had a great weekend Everything was so easy as we were sent directions and instructions which made it so easy It was in a great position but just never got any sun in the unit Would go back was great close to everything
