Welcome to this two-story 2,000 square foot waterfront house located in the quiet southeastern corner of the Island, known as historic Goodland. It sleeps 10, with two king beds, two queens, a queen sleeper sofa, and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Actually, it sleeps 11 if you count your dog.
Start your day on the dock with a cup of coffee or tea in hand, while watching the dolphins and manatees play in the canal. If you're a boater, then feel free to tie up your boat on the east side of the dock, where you'll have access to explore the 10,000 islands of southwest Florida. Throughout the day, enjoy friendly games of foosball, darts, or cards in the downstairs game room, which provides extra storage space and direct access to the backyard, where a possible cornhole tournament awaits you. Then, end your day on the south-facing balcony with a tropical drink in hand as the setting sun turns the sky a brilliant orange.
As you make your way inside, you’ll notice the interior perfectly reflects the surrounding tropics, as it blends paradisal touches with modern furnishings. Sunlight brightens the boat deck-inspired floors and sand white walls, and cozy furnishings and seaside colors enhance the serene ambience. Relax on the comfy couch and enjoy your favorite shows on the flat screen television in the upstairs living room. To top it all off, the living area opens up to the balcony, so you’ll be able to enjoy the interior and exterior at the same time.
The kitchen comes equipped with all the modern appliances and cookware you need to prepare family meals to enjoy on the balcony. Even better, the downstairs bar room provides an extra refrigerator for more storage for your backyard soiree.
Once you’re ready to visit dreamland, both the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms come with ample closet and drawer space and feature all of the colors of the tropics, so you’ll be reminded of what surrounds you.
The house is filled with everything you need for your comfort and convenience, like air conditioning and heating, free wi-fi, cable, linens, towels, and a washer and dryer. You’ve also got four cruiser bicycles and two kayaks, as well as beach essentials like beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella.
Cross the Goodland bridge, leaving the crowds of the Island behind, and follow the winding road to an uncrowded village, nestled on the blue water of Goodland Bay, where the people are welcoming, the food is second to none, and the fishing is beyond belief. When you’re in Goodland, everything is just a short walk or bike ride away. Visit their hidden gems of restaurants, like Stan’s Idle Hour, Little Bar, Paradise Found, Crabby Lady, Old Marco Lodge Crab House, or Kirk Fish Company, where everything is fresh from the Goodland Bay.
So, come experience this distinct piece of paradise in historic Goodland.
