Stars for days on a peaceful pond.
Wow, what a place! We were so fortunate it was available for our stay. The setting is gorgeous and we loved the drive up to the house with it's long winding driveway. We had turkeys in the front yard and saw a porcupine.
It's a very comfy and spotless home with great beds and linens, plenty of blankets and throws for chilly nights and a firepit to gather around. Not to mention the fantastic deck! The kitchen has all new appliances and the cutest coffee bar set up. One of our guests is disabled so the house being one level was big help. It was an easy entry up a few stairs from the garage with rails on both sides. You do need to go down to the lower level for the washer/dryer.
We felt we had our own little oasis with the benefit of It being an easy trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this marvelous house again!
