The hotel is good, staff at the front desk were friendly however the failed to let me know that i am not supposed to have breakfast at the upper terrace. My husband and i had the most embarrassing experience, as we got coffee and food and were about to sit down and eat when staff approached us, asked the room number and told us that we could not eat here. I told them i would happily pay..but no! They told us to go to level 0 and put put our plates down. It was really strange, as they food we already plated would be wasted anyways. Why this was not shared at the check in or as we entered the dining area upstairs is beyond me. I travel a lot and never been treated this way..its just breakfast! Embarrassing experience and something that i will unfortunately remember not in a positive light.

I recently stayed at Melia Hotel in Granada, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, combining modern comforts with traditional Andalusian charm, which really added to the overall experience of staying in Granada. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had an incredible view of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada mountains—a highlight for sure. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning, which offered a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. Location-wise, this hotel is unbeatable. It’s situated right in the heart of Granada, just a short walk from major attractions like the Alhambra, Albaicín, and the bustling Plaza Nueva. The front desk/reception personnel were very courteous, respectful and helpful, the room we were assigned, although a bit small for our taste, was very clean well provided. And the breakfast buffet on the sixth floor, was to die for. All in all, I would rate this hotel, and our two-day stay, as a 4.5 to 5.

Great location - convenient walking distance to many areas of interest with excellent and friendly service. The 6th floor space for breakfast and happy hour has incredible views of the Alhambra, the city and surrounding hills/mountains - something we took advantage of daily. VERY relaxing, as the rooms are spacious, clean and inviting.

I thought the property was very well-maintained. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful and booking. Some last-minute excursions I wanted to do. The bed was also very comfortable.

Wow. This is the greatest hotel that I have ever stayed. They treat hotel guests as VVIP. They even solved all the incidental problems as their own. I am so happy and fully satisfied with this hotel.
