SAN JOSÉ RURAL HOUSE

In a corner of the south of Tenerife, between San Isidro and Granadilla de Abona, is isolated the rural house San José, ideal to enjoy an absolute tranquility in a totally rural environment and with a spectacular landscape towards the sea and the mountain.
The house dates from the mid-nineteenth century and around it a small hermitage (1. 929) was built in which it housed the Saint Joseph, hence the name by which it is still known.
The rehabilitation of the facilities, respecting the traditional Canarian architectural style, has made it possible to offer the house as rural accommodation. It has been distributed in 2 apartments, prepared for 2 people each, on one floor, carefully restored and decorated with simplicity and rustic air with all the comfort. Each apartment has a kitchen-dining room, bathroom and bedroom.
In the outside of the house you will find a magnificent porch where you can enjoy a garden, with a great variety of cactus, and a unique view to the sea and the mountain, in furniture necessary for your comfort. The San José country house offers you everything to enjoy an unforgettable holiday.

Seaview cottage with cactus garden
Smart semi-detached bungalow finished with high quality fittings. Quiet setting. Generally comfortable. Had the whole flat garden to myself, so enjoyed wandering around it taking photos. Never stood by such large cacti before! As extra-hot during my stay, shade around the building was welcome. Sun was rising over Gran Canaria lighting up the sea. Enjoyed the starry sky at night, as light pollution low. Situated near bus routes, which open up the whole island. All good!
