The staff are nice, the room is clean, breakfast is okey they have muffin, pancake, bread, milk, coffee, yogurt, juice. need improvement in my opinion is the security, people are in/out without using the access card to all entry doors, the carpet in suite smells wet that didn’t dry properly, washroom too, its ok that the building is old but somehow cleanliness and safety is the most important

This was a last minute booking and I wish we would have taken our time to search more for accommodations. Our room was very musty and stale smelling. The shower curtain was not long enough to contain water from making the floor slippery. We were provided ONE bath towel for 2 adults and 2 nights. We always pack an extra just in case. When we came down for breakfast, there were very few items available. If we ever make it back this way, we’ll search for other options.

I have worked in the Hotel industry as a supervisor of cleaning staff. this hotel is dated we went to check in and checked out immediately. As we walked up the stairs it was filthy the pool was murky. once inside the room I pulled back the dated comforter which was dirty and sheets had blood and nose pickings on sheet. the screen was black with cobwebs and bugs in tracking. Room smelled mouldy. I would fire every cleaner in there and hire new staff with training on how to clean. I’m surprised anyone would even stay there at 491.00 a night is unbelievable. The only plus when I spoke to the man at the desk he was understanding and credited my account back. Sorry but this hotel should be shut down. Your cleaning staff did not change the sheets from the previous person who rented nose pickings and blood so unsanitary.

Outside doors weren’t closing properly, anyone can walk in the building at anytime. There was cat food in our drawers, the carpet needed vacuuming. People hanging out in the parking lot at all hours. Don’t think it was worth the money. Staff didn’t engage in any sort of conversation or eye contact, made me feel unwelcomed. Location was good to the Alerus center where we went. Other than that, I hope I don’t get blamed for the cat food left behind. Took my mother to a concert and I flopped with the hotel choosing. I thought it was going to be a cute place to stay. Wouldn’t recommend.

The room was gross left over Cheetos from the last person on the floor. They was blood on the sheets and the table was all dusty. Didn’t seem like they cleaned just made it look decent for the next person. Wouldn’t recommend definitely never stay at the knights inn again.

The bathtub had pubic hair in it. The overall cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. The wall are way to thin though. Could hear everything outside of the room. I am a housekeeper by trade so the first thing I look at in a room is the bathroom. Not in good condition. The check in guy was super friendly though and it was just an overnighter.

We stayed in the non-smoking section of the hotel. So guess what I smell when we first walk in?? Smoke! And when I start getting into bed I find dog hair (?) in the bed. I get it’s a pet friendly hotel, but did they even wash the sheets?? I was very disappointed with the stay for the price. I get it’s the cheapest place to stay in Grand Forks, but if you’re charging $200~ to stay, at least give me a clean room
