Can’t decide between a cabin on the lake or a cabin in the woods? Superior Reflections #3 is the best of both worlds. This is the perfect place to get away from it all (no WIFI) on a peaceful plot of land overlooking Lake Superior. Access to the cobblestone shore of the lake is a short walk (about 300 feet) down the gravel driveway. While not directly on Lake Superior, you are nestled amongst the trees in a quiet and peaceful setting. This is a great rental combination with Superior Reflections 1 and 2 to relax and enjoy the beautiful north woods.
This 2-bedroom, 1 bath cabin has a full bed in each room. The main room includes a kitchen with the basic necessities, and a couch and 2 chairs and a TV for the DVD player and HDMI input for watching movies. The TV is not connected with an antenna or satellite, just for DVD viewing. The bathroom has a shower and a view of the woods. There’s a cozy porch with a table and chairs to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and look out at Lake Superior. It’s the perfect spot to watch for Ore boats off in the distance. Outside there’s a picnic table and charcoal grill.
Across the highway is the Gitchi Gami bike trail. Temperance River State Park is practically in our backyard with miles of hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls. Nearby you will find Cross River, Father Baraga’s Cross, and the Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center. The Schroeder Bakery is a great place to start your day with a coffee, breakfast sandwiches and bakery. After a day of hiking you could stop for a malt or pizza.
This is a seasonal cabin open May through October. Pets are welcome with prior approval and an additional fee, 2 pet maximum. Due to the location on the shore and season, water may taste salty. We provide drinking water for you.
