Everything was great, given the nightly price range they ask. I especially liked how the pool area (including hot tub) was peaceful and not crowded by college-age debauchery. Staff went over and beyond to accommodate me.

Unfortunately, there was no driver of the airport shuttle to pick up my wife and me when we returned to Grand Rapids the evening of 10/22/24. Kyle, at the front desk, was apologetic as best he could be but it was still a disappointment and a $35 taxi ride we'd not anticipated. The next morning there was a technical glitch when the fire alarm went off at 7:15am. So, I would say overall--this is a good facility under working out some improvements--in the building itself and getting more staff members like Kyle.

The television did not work in the room. The hotel was packed with people taking advantage of the indoor pool, which was great to see the activity. Sadly, though, this meant the hallways and common areas were not maintained. This was not the fault of the staff, but the number of people at hotel. This is a great place for children as the indoor pool and play area is ideal for winter getaways. Proximity to restaurants, shops, etc. was perfect. If you prefer a quiet part of the hotel, there are plenty of rooms that do not look on the pool area. The elevators were exceptionally slow, again not a fault of the staff, but something to note. The property looks to have been renovated so rooms and furniture were comfortable and maintained. Staff was nice.

There was unfortunately some guests there that ruined it for a lot of other guests. It was a birthday party for what I believe to be about a 10 or 11 year old. What ruined it was the fact that the adult in charge was nowhere to be found most of the time. She turned out to be just as disrespectful as the 10 or so kids that attended. They didn’t follow the rules of the hotel. They trashed the pool area to the point, that could not open the pool area on Sunday morning, or even by the time we left at noon. We were promised a late check out because even tho I was told we could get into our rooms at 2, only one room was ready out of the 4 I reserved. It was about 4 when room number 2 was ready and close to 6:30 when the last 2 were finally ready. About 11:30, on Sunday morning, our room keys stopped working. The staff seemed friendly, but I would not stay there again.

If they tell you you have a "pool view" leave! Hotel was great, staff excellent but we were there for quiet and relaxation and instead was trapped in a room listening to approx 40 kids play and scream in pool area. It echos so loudly i spent alot of time in lobby to escape the room i paid for due to the noise

Room was nice. Bed was comfortable and very clean. Couldn’t adjust the temperature in my room and it was colder than I’d like, the hallways were chilly too. Pool and hot tub were nice, minus the children not being monitored. Get that everyone there wants to enjoy their stay and kids will be kids, but hard to enjoy the pool when kids are screaming and jumping in the pool over and over or when you are getting to relax in the hot tub and it’s full of unaccompanied children.

We’d stay again!
Was attracted by the price and our past stay at your Indianapolis location. Pool and hot tub were also a draw but there was a large party using those facilities so we passed. We did have dinner and drinks in the dining area and they were very good! Location is also very convenient to most things. We would definitely recommend it to friends.

Staff was great. Only real problems were 1) no cleaning staff so rooms were not made every day, 2) desk chairs were in ratty condition, 3) no security available at the pool at night. Non guests were using the pool and hot tub. Went to tell the front desk and was told “sorry. Nothing we can do”

Okay to start: Never accept the option of a poolside room if you want peace and quiet. There will almost always be someone in the pool area regardless of the posted sign with the hours for the area. My stay was great. I loved the room itself and the comfort of the beds and pillows. The room was very clean with minor wear and tear (no big deal). I would have loved the stay more if I was given a room on a higher floor, away from the pool.
