Very poor customer service!
I showed up at 9:30 pm to check in and entered the lobby to the front desk. Long story short, I was stuck waiting in the lobby with no sign of anyone until 11pm. Eventually I had to contact Expedia, they called and received no answer. After a while, they were able to get a hold of the owner and he finally came out.
He walked into the lobby and looked angry. I said hey, and he said hey back, but in an pissed off way. I said I have a booking and he says “oh yeah, what’s your name?” (again in anger) I said my name and he grabbed the key card and started stomping off to the room.. .. so I followed… On the way up the stairs I said I had been waiting since 9:30, and he replied in a rude tone “I don’t speak any English”. We got to the room, he opened the door, passed me the card and walked away angrily.
If it wasn’t already past 11pm and I would have just left. I did not want to stay there. I can’t believe a hotel owner would treat his guest like this. I was unhappy about the long wait when I arrived, but I could understand if he was busy doing something, but then to be treated like that once he did show up. Unbelievable. I slept, and left as soon as I woke up. I paid for breakfast with the booking, but just left.
Extremely poor customer service!
