Sketchy surroundings.
We let them know we'd arrive around 10pm. There was no parking in the hotel lot left, yet there were several sketchy characters lurking nearby. One came from behind a tree and walked in and out between several vehicles. When I mentioned it to reception, the guy said everything should be fine. The dead end adjacent to the hotel had several addicts sleeping in their car. Nothing went awry, but I was uncomfortable with the situation all night.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, fairly standard. The only issue was that we were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was out. Staff notified us by text earlier in the day and offered a first floor room but we chose to keep the 3rd floor room as the stairs were not that difficult to manage. The view of the river from the balcony was lovely. We had a visitor by the front door - a tiny bat!

Loved the scenic view from our balcany. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The room was outdated. The complementary breakfast was good. We were staying at the back end of the property and there were homeless people there every day on the other side of the fence. We walked across the bridge from the hotel and there were more homeless people. We didn’t have any problems with them but there were a lot of them. It was convenient that there was a restaurant (and good by the way) right next door under the bridge. Also Hellgate Jet Boat was also next door to the hotel. If you stay here you need to try it. We will stay again but hope when we do by next summer that the city will handle the homeless situation.

Very friendly staff! Answered all our questions about the area. We loved the beautiful location right on the river and that it was an easy walk to an excellent restaurant (also right on the river) and park. Great place to stay with our dog! Loved the free EV charging and nice breakfast included.

The carpet in our room looks old, unclean and has multiple stains. The beds are okay. What bothers us the most is that there's a hint of urine smell. We requested to have another room but they were fully booked, and my husband was too tired to move out and find another hotel, so we stay for that one night. Breakfast is pretty standard continental breakfast. The staffs at the front desk are quite friendly. Would I book a room in this hotel again? Probably not.
