From its darling exterior to the beautiful natural light that awaits inside, this cottage at Grayland's Breakwater Inn makes an inviting and cheerful home base for your stay on the Washington Coast. The beach is a short stroll from your door, allowing you to spend your days crabbing, clamming, and searching for seashells.

The Breakwater Inn is a peaceful oceanfront property that seamlessly blends modern comfort with a sense of nostalgia for the coastal vacations of your youth. On the inn's grounds, find grills, crab cookers, picnic tables, and firepits available for your use. Follow the path immediately west to meet a broad stretch of open beach, or head over to Grayland Beach State Park half a mile south. Explore the nearby town of Westport (seven miles), tour the International Mermaid Museum (13 miles), or hop on board a whale-watching or fishing charter.

Named for the native tribe who has long lived in the area now known as Willapa Bay, Shoalwater Cottage makes you smile before you even set foot inside the turquoise door. You'll have your own little front yard where you can step out with your morning coffee and breathe in the salty ocean air.

Inside, find all the essentials - generous windows, a great kitchenette (with a mini-fridge, a four-burner stove, an oven, a toaster, a coffee maker, and pots and pans), a small dining table for nightly meals and board games, and a sitting and sleeping area facing a smart TV. High-speed WiFi is also provided. Enjoy a game of Pickleball on the new court!

Things to Know
The hot tub is available to all guests at the property and is operating on a first come, first serve/available seats basis.
There is no washer/dryer.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
