Secluded Canvas Tent Nestled in the Trees
Relax in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains with easy access to hiking, tubing, fishing, swimming and horse back riding - all within a 10 minute drive. Just a few minutes from the heart of Berkeley Springs, shops, dining and local cuisine, state parks and unlimited possibilities. Bring your clothes, food and a water bottle and you will be set for a hotel-like glamping experience with a king bed and upscale touches and private outdoor space to enjoy the night sky.
Incredibly private and quiet, this canvas tent is nestled perfectly in the trees and sits at the top of the ridge. This tent is farthest from the bathhouse at around 600ft or about 240 steps.
The Wild Rye tent is spacious and tall with 7ft of clearance and 10ft heights inside and 200sqft of walking space. You will find a king bed prepared with a hybrid mattress, 1000 thread count sheets, luxurious pillows, comfortable duvets and boutique amenities like stuffed arm chairs, a power station, electric water kettle, pour-over coffee maker and an abundance of dinnerware and cookware to fully indulge in the camping experience.
At your campsite you will find a picnic table, tamarak chairs for lounging and a cowboy fire pit with a swing over cooking grate to fully enjoy the beauty of an outdoor fire and easily cook delicious meals over the hardwood fire. Your camp site also include a Blackstone tailgater which is half griddle and half grill to accommodate different cooking methods. Propane and firewood are provided, on-site.
Note: In the summer months an AC cooler is provided to rapidly cool down your tent during the warmest days.
Restrooms:
On-site there is an upscale bathhouse with private showers and toilets. Fluffy towels, tear-free body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryers are available in both the men’s and women’s bathroom.
The Common:
Located near the Bathhouse and The Lodge you’ll find The Common. Picnic tables, solar string lights and corn hole create a fun and inviting atmosphere whether joining together as old friends or making new friends.
Guests have access to common areas, the bathhouse and their reserved tent site. We ask that guests do not go behind the tents as there are many cords and strings used to secure the tents and those areas are not cleared for easy walking.
Staff is on-site daily for questions and assistance during your stay.
Please Note:
If you see purple markers on trees or POSTED signs, do not enter those areas as they are not accessible for guests of Firefly Ridge.
Guests must checkin no later than 8pm. If you are arriving later, please let us know in advance.
