The staff were all friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother and they kept us updated , the rooms were clean comfortable and cosy , with spotless showers / bathrooms and loads of tea , coffee (inc def cafe ) and hot chocolate , the food throughout was a amazing and freshly made on the premises
Nice and clean inn. We really enjoyed our stay, super comfortable bed and very convenient parking. It would have been great to have a razor plug in the bathroom.

Nice location, nice rooms excellent food, the room we stayed in ‘Best Mate’ had the laundry on one side so we could hear the dryer going when we got into the room.
Unfortunately the room the other side of us had its bathroom backing onto the headboard of the bed, so we had the pleasure of hearing them in the bathroom throughout the night and early in the morning.
Fantastic as usual. All the staff friendly and efficient. Such a lovely atmosphere in the bar and restaurant . We stayed in a room perfect for us and our dog, with doors leading straight to the garden.
The best family room we’ve ever stayed in. Really impressed and will definitely stay again. The perfect ‘half way’ stopover for anyone travelling the country.
Beautiful accommodation - all of our family had a wonderful stay. Staff were attentive, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious with just the right amount of options. It arrived quickly and well presented. The bedrooms had lots of little extra touches to make the stay special. The property is traditional and maintained beautifully with lots of modern touches. We can’t wait to return in the near future.
