This property from the outside looks like a brick prison, and the lobby looks like a nightclub: dark with dim blue and purple neon lighting and wine bottle displays. There were police cars in the parking lot, so there was some kind of incident and made one wonder about the area. Not a good impression overall, but the downtown area seemed safe. It's an older property so it could definitely use updates. The room was basic, but at least everything worked. Breakfast was average. Not very good value for money overall.

Being downtown there's only so much that can be done outside. Inside there were an incredible number of dings, dents and chipped paint on doors and walls in the hallways. This made the property look run down. Our room was nice.

Location is good but the hotel itself is not great. I was placed in a room that opened up directly into the indoor pool. There were people in the pool all day and it was very loud. Anytime I got on a business call, I had to go to my vehicle so people didn’t think was working from a water park. It was also very humid in the room due to being connected to the pool. This may have been an ok hotel if traveling with kids, but not great for a business trip.

Building is dated. Can tell it is old and they have not made updates. Sound transfer between units is bad. Can hear your neighbors take a leak or shift positions in bed. Cool location downtown along the river, but random non-residents hang out in the parking lot looking into your vehicles. Makes you feel uneasy. Not bad for the price but suggest somewhere different.

Staff was very nice. A little weird but nice. Told us about parking in the back. So we brought all your stuff back to truck to drive around the block to find no parking. Walked around the whole hotel to find the room. Then the key card did not work. Walk back down to the desk. Then back to room again. Then the whole area felt very unsafe. Back door did not lock.

This is a $70 property. It is maintained for that price, but clean, tidy and fresh coats of paint. The breakfast has waffles, eggs, eggs with cheese, sausage, cereal, muffins, bread. The swimming pool, hot tub area is nice. They have a separate area with a small wading pool for little kids. The wait room has a treadmill, bike and a weight set. We have a conference next year and will be booking here.
