Been to Mango bay before, little change in building . However we did find there were a lot more managers hanging around and on times not enough staff working in the restaurant. Definitely have a staffing issue . Some of the staff were delightful and couldn’t do enough. There were some restaurant staff who just pretended to work . The managers also stood by the book at the entrance and were not pro active in helping out. They Run out of wine and water glasses often . Staff mentioned they were working long hours , low pay were understaffed and undervalued . This is such a shame as it is a fabulous location .
On one occasion I inquired from a manager about the difference in room rates as a future reference and was told that she (Isabella ) didn’t keep figures in her head .
Would love to return to Mango bay but some changes need to made . They appear to be missing Pedro ( currently in the Cliff hotel ) This was our 8 th occasion to visit Mango bay so we were able to compare .
In fairness the rooms were absolutely spotless and many staff are working really hard . Hope that the restaurant managers pull together and sort this out . Always would give this hotel a5* in the past with no faults. Please address these issues Managers ,
