When we went, the lobby was under construction, which was no problem. They just had all guest move through an office. Next thing was it could've been updated especially bedroom flooring and bathtub just felt they were overall dinge. Other than that our experience was just fine.

When booking this room, we were not informed that the hotel was under renovation. The renovation is understandable since the entire hotel seemed severely outdated. I could overlook that part of it. However, the hallways and our room were not properly cleaned. The floor in our room was heavily stained, the bathroom mirror was covered in toothpaste splatter, the makeup wipe packet on the bathroom counter had a dead bug squished on it, around the beds had food crumbs that hadn’t been vacuumed, and flat surfaces still showed beverage rings that weren’t wiped up. The breakfast area is currently in a meeting room that was unable to accommodate more than a handful of people. A family member of ours had their own room with similar issues to ours and I overheard another guest also complaining to the front desk about the lack of cleanliness of their room. I would say do better communicating the state of your hotel when people book rooms and housekeeping needs to be addressed immediately.

This property was under construction. Workers were actively working on projects such as sanding drywall. To get to our room we needed to walk through the dust. This resulted in asthma and allergy exacerbation. If I knew the state of this property, I would not have paid $180/ night. This is not worth it!

Under renovation from what looked like 1980. The carpet in our room was dirty, stained and overall the room smelled funny. When the heater turned on, it was way too noisy, akin to a loud idling truck. There is also some noise from highway traffic, although only occasional. If I could get a do over, I’d have picked another hotel.

Nice and quiet place to stay in Howell
The place is under renovations right now but it is a nice place to stay. Staff is really friendly and there is a shopping and a couple of restaurants nearby. Rooms are not renovated yet and it might look dated but it was comfy in general.
