We’ve stayed in this hotel before and it was great the first visit. This time, there was trash under my bed, the sink drain was very slow, the elevator could not be called to the second floor and the breakfast area was out of a lot of items. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just wasn’t what I expected since the first time was so much better.

One of the things we didn't like was the outside door being right next to our room. We had room 100...ever time someone came and went, the door would slam very hard and shake our room. I understand the quick access to the parking lot. The door needs to be a soft closed door or replaced.

Smoke smells
Entered room and immediately smelled like it was a smoking room....which we did not request. Front desk manager apologized, and took it upon herself to get an air freshener bottle and sprayed it around the room/bathroom. Said the previous occupant would be charged $250.00 for smoking in the room. Seems that the housekeeping staff should have notified the desk that smoking occurred and took care of the problem before we checked in late at night and all this had to occur . Other than than that, everything else was fine.

Property needs a little TLC. The drain in our sink would not open, rigged it to work myself. Chip in tub looked like blood. No ice on first floor. New person at check in was very overwhelmed and did not know what she was doing.thankfully someone finally stepped in. The beds were fantastic, we are both tall so it was easy to get in and out but a short person would have difficulty getting into high beds.
