Accidentally booked a hot tub room. The floor had water damage and I injured my foot. The couch had pet hair on it. The bed spread looked dirty (it was brown and gross) and stained. There was grease on the light switches, hair in the shower. The staff were rude and unaccommodating. They offered a new bedspread but never brought it. Neighborhood was scary. They lied to Expedia and said we never complained and since we didn’t take photos (which we just wanted out of there) we didn’t have Proof and they wouldn’t refund us the second night we booked even though they told us they would, we would just have to call Expedia since we booked through them

The room was clean, linens and towels also clean. Probably some of the softest towels we have come across in a hotel room! That's the good. The bad - very hard mattress. No way to get a good nights sleep on that thing. Also the bed had a weird metal skirt around it. Every time you walked to the bed you would kick that metal skirt and it sounded like you just kicked large empty garbage can. Very weird way to skirt a bed. This hotel also allows dogs. Some of these dogs were not quiet dogs and were allowed to bark a lot. I am not sure if its because we booked via Expedia rather than directly with the hotel, but we were given a room right next to the side entry/exit door which was very loud as people just let that door slam. Maybe if we had booked directly, we would have been given a better room . . .

Served the purpose for the night
Upon arrival, there was a very heavy sewage smell that permeated the air. Also, it is the responsibility of the customer to inform the concierge of any pets, which I thought was a bit backwards. Continental breakfast was decent. We stayed here during a cross-country move with pets, so definitely traveling on a budget. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, as the room walls were filthy (perhaps someone vomited there a few stays ago???), the room needed painting, and overall the place just seemed run down and grimy.

It wasn't the worst place that I've ever stayed. If I was going to be staying longer than two nights this would not have been an idea place. I was traveling with my daughter and son-in-law and my 5-week-old infant grandson. When I booked they said there were cribs available. I called as soon as I booked the property and asked them if they had cribs for when I would be arriving the next day. I was assured there would be. When I did arrive the following evening the hotel clerk had no idea what I was talking about. He asked me three times what I was talking about he didn't even know what a crib was. He finally understood when I described what it did that a child's an infant actually would be sleeping in it so he would be safe and he told me that he was going to check on it and he would bring it up to my room or call my room he never did. I went back down he said he was still checking on it he ended up leaving that evening with no communication with me. That was very frustrating to me. The next day I also asked the hotel clerk that was on duty that day and was finally met with they did not have any cribs. We managed to make it work but I was not entirely comfortable with a 5 week old infant sleeping on the bed next to me. Cleanliness was okay I guess. The pool area mediocre. They did have a hot tub and a pool as advertised but it wasn't the absolute best. It also wasn't the worst. The microwave didn't work. The blow dryer didn't work.

This hotel relatively peaceful for being on a busy street, but it is in dire need of a renovation. Our toilet seat was very old and delaminating. Carpets on the stairs not installed correctly, there are gaps on the side that make the stairs look bad. Outside of the facility looks ok, but the parking lot is small, extremely narrow stalls if you have a mid-size SUV or bigger, and the handicap spots are not ideal if you need these spaces. Breakfast was pretty dismal, one waffle iron was not keeping up with the 3 families and their kids! Tables were dirty, sticky from syrup from previous day. Could be worst I guess?!?

The things that stood out to me is the unpleasant smell in the whole hotel and the mugginess of the air. My sinus was affected not long after we got there. My nose was plugged and I can’t sleep well. I did not have this experience in other hotels in later part of the trip. The hotel does not smell good. It is more of like a motel quality imo. It was not cheap staying here too. It cost almost $180 per night and I have stayed in a better hotel in similar city in OR that is way better condition. The hotel rooms and condition are old and definitely need to have some face lift. Breakfast is okay. No hot breakfast except the waffles. Unfortunately we will not be back here again.
