The property is right on the sea front, with sea views from the bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, but beware the shower is open, and the only privacy is with curtains. The restaurant and bar area were lovely, as was the half board option, we enjoyed the pool etc, but if you are coming from the UK, the Sauna and Spa area is most naked people, a bit of a surprise

I was expecting a lot more at this hotel. I found the room to be very basic. There is no soap or shampoo or face cloths. Each room is given a bottle of body wash. You have to pay extra for a room with a view of the ocean/see. The breakfast was on the 5th floor. Breakfast consisted of eggs(hard boiled and scrambled), bacon, bread, fruit, yogurt, cheese. You can also order an omellete. The hotel is central right on the promenade. One thing I found interesting about the room was that there was no end tables. There were curtains in the middle of the room around the bed on 2 sides. The bathroom is different. There is a sink, toilet and shower. However it is all glass and not privacy. The only privacy is if you close the door to the toilet. There are no balconies with the rooms. On the 5th floor you can sit outside and have a drink.

Disappointing stay but good quality bed
When checking in, there was 1 person for check in and she also had customers wanting to pay for the little shop. She hardly spoke English and hard a hard time taking our information. The restaurant only offered 2 times a buffet style dinner. No a la carte. The bar had a choice between 3 or 4 small dishes (bradwurst with bread etc). There is no parking with the hotel. You can park for free couple of hundred meters away in the village. Parking is not monitored! Quality of the bed was great! Breakfast was good. Again problems with checking out. We had prepaid our stay but it didn't show. Luckily there were now several people working the front desk so the process was a little more smooth. All in all we won't go back to this place. Very focused on the German public and not so much on non-Europeans. For an hotel this size, we would have expected at least a full blown restaurant.

Bad experience, not recomendable. No rules at the hotel is written in English, the people working there is not very good at English and most of them only speak German. The spa area is only for nude people and the first day we got kickt out because we did not bring a towel, at least thats what we thought. The next day we had our towel and we got kickt out once again, because we had our swimming shorts on. When ordering the vercation it said free parking, thats is correct if you want to park 0,3 km away or pay 7 Euro per day.

Top Frühstück mit großer Auswahl, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Super gelegen und dadurch mitten drin. Kleiner Wermutstropfen ist die Parksituation, da beide Hotelmöglichkeiten vollständig belegt waren und wir so auf eine öffentlichen Parkplatz mit max. 24 Std. Ticket ausweichen mussten. Das Zimmer war durch die Vorhänge etwas staubig.

Die Belüftung im Zimmer fanden wir sehr schlecht. Nach dem Duschen die Luftfeuchtigkeit im gesamten Hotelzimmer wieder auf den Normal Zustand zu bekommen war sehr schwierig.

- Das Essen ist hervorragend (sehr kreativ und liebevoll zubereitet, große Auswahl am Buffet). - Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und motiviert. - Die Grömitzer Welle ist de facto im Hotel integriert und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Der Strand ist fußläufig ca. 1 min entfernt. - Das Gym besteht nicht nur aus Cardio Geräten, sondern kann auch für Kraftsport genutzt werden. - Wo es Verbesserungen geben könnte, wäre die Frequenz der Zimmerreinigung. Zimmer und Hotel sind aber sehr sauber. - Parkplätze sind allgemein in Grömitz ein Thema. - Ein Safe im Zimmer fehlte, haben aber auch nicht danach gefragt ob man einen dazu buchen kann. - Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr gut und kommen gerne wieder.

Inte prisvärt hotell
Bra frukostbuffé. Mindre bra städade rum och mycket konstig planlösning på rummet som hade öppen planlösning mellan sängdel och badrum endast åtskilt av drapperier. Svårt med parkering då vi anlände runt 18 och då var även restaurangens båda kvällssittningar till buffén fullbokade. Synd också att personalen knappt pratade engelska, ledde till onödiga missförstånd.

This is a nude spa
Good location and a nice big breakfast. However, it doesn’t say in the description of the hotel, that the spa and the outdoor pool only are for people in the nude. We were not allowed in our swim trunk/bikini. As we are not nudists it was an unpleasant experience.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut nicht
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier absolut nicht und ich frage mich woher die vier Sterne kommen. Nicht einmal die Hotelinformationen werden hier aktuell gehalten. Die Sauna sollte laut Informationen bei Hotels.com bis 14.06. geschlossen sein. Während unseres Aufenthaltes Ende Juni war sie noch immer zu. Das geht gar nicht! Das Hotel wirkt in der Realität nicht so modern wie auf den Bildern. Von etlichen Zimmern blickt man auf das davor liegende verdreckte Schwimmbaddach, was den Meerblick ruiniert. Auch der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig. Der Mitarbeitende an der Rezeption verhielt sich weder freundlich noch entgegenkommend, wie man es eigentlich in einem 4 Sterne Haus erwarten dürfte. Die Lage ist jedoch toll, unmittelbar an der Promenade und auch die Möglichkeit der Nutzung der Grömitzer Welle positiv hervorzuheben.
