I've stayed here once before this. After I've checked in this evening. I'm reminded why I wasn't a huge fan. Good parts are it's quiet, the front desk staff is friendly Although I had to ask what time check out time is and where the pool is because they don't really give you any information about the property. Just check you and give you your key and say here you go. There really is no amenities to speak of and the room wasn't very clean. There was dust covering everything and the floors did not look like they were swept properly. There's virtually no TV channels, I couldn't get any of the wifi servers to work, I had to pull the drain plug completely out of the bath tub because it wouldn't drain properly, and there's no breakfast at this property. Very few places to get anything to eat close by. All in all I probably would stay here again in a pinch however if you're somebody that's looking for the quintessential Tennessee mountains lodge experience, you might be disappointed.

We enjoyed our short stay here. It’s a unique place and would definitely stay there again. They gave us an upgrade to get us in early. It was everything we needed while attending a concert at The Caverns nearby.

We stopped for an overnight and the hotel was not updated but it is quaint. The front desk staff were very friendly during both check in and checkout. The sleeping area was nice but the bathroom was small. You can hear the neighbors through the walls, the traffic and any outside noises. There were a few restaurants and some stores a little drive from the property.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I arrived an hour before check in time, they checked to see if my room was ready and when it was allowed me to proceed with check in. The cabin was perfect and just what i needed for the night. Can't wait to come back. 🙂

Front desk staff was very friendly. Facility is older but it's clean. Grounds are well neat & clean. Beds are comfortable. Only negative is no elevator but it's only 2 story.

There was noticeable water damage, the sheets on one of the beds appeared to have lipstick on it, the other mattress was flimsy and sagged on one side, it had a sickening smell of old wood, the floors were dirty, the refrigerator wasn't cold, the sink looked like it had never been cleaned (significant buildup on the faucet), The bathroom was just a toilet and shower with no room to turn around with spider webs, and rust on every surface. Overall, would not stay in the hotel again.

Bonnaroo Stay
We stayed here to attend Bonnaroo in Manchester! We had a last minute booking bc Airbnb cancelled our reservation without notification (never using them again). We enjoyed that the lodge was pet friendly, which allowed us to bring our dogs with us from Nashville rather than having to pay to board them. The only requirement was that we needed to bring our crate to leave them in, which wasn’t a problem for us at all as we normally crate them when we are out anyways. The rooms were clean, with the exception of having badly stained chairs that we didn’t want to sit in. Otherwise, it was pretty spacious for two people, with plenty of room for both of us to get ready for the festival. Additionally, they accommodated us having two cars, which made parking a breeze and allowed us to come and go as needed. A separate note for future festival-goers: being in a small town removed from Bonnaroo, other people staying on the property did not seem as friendly towards POC and queer folks, and while we didn’t have any direct conflicts, we were given some looks that did make us slightly uncomfortable, so we were cautious while around other people so as not to attract unwanted attention or directed hostility. Overall, not a bad experience!

The room was, for the most part, clean; however, there were some marks in the bathroom that nixed the clean vibe. If you stay on the bottoms floor, you will hear the footsteps of those above you, and it will sound like a herd of elephants. It’s an affordable place to stay in the area; that is its best quality.
