Charming cottage on the Wine Route - SPA and sauna

We welcome you to our 18th century Alsatian house, completely renovated in 2016.
The house is located in Gueberschwihr, a small medieval and picturesque town on the Alsace Wine Route.
You will be ideally located to discover the charms of Alsace, its vineyards, its villages and its gastronomy.
Distant 15km from Colmar, 5 km from Eguisheim ( "preferred French Village 2013"), 80km from Strasbourg, 60 km from Switzerland and 30km from Germany.
The village has a bakery, a pharmacy, restaurants, doctors, dentist.

The house is located above the village, quiet, making you enjoy a view of the back garden of the house, and the plain of Alsace and the Black Forest elsewhere.
The hiking trails are directly accessible in front of the house.

On the ground floor, you will have a laundry room equipped with a washing machine, a dryer and a wellness area (sauna).

On the 1st floor, you have

The owner expectation
At first the owner could not meet us the agreed at check-in time. We had to protest in order to check-in as planned. The we were criticised for the state of the property, by mail after we had left , - the owner were not present at check-out time. We had only slept, eaten breakfast and showered.

Lovely place
Very sweet newly renovated house in a charming French village. Clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Friendly and helpful welcome, good location, comfortable beds and quiet nights sleep. Would definitely book again!

Lovely town, lovely people
The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. I was not aware there was a spiral staircase up to the living and sleeping area. The stairs were hard to get luggage up, and hard for an older woman to climb. I suggest full disclosure when marketing this home. Definitely NOT for older people with leg or knee issues. and NOT for small children who could easily fall down the stairs. The house itself is charming with a lovely backyard. The Lembergers are a terrific couple who me and my family enjoyed meeting. Thank you for a great couple of days. Diane Dickinson

Well furnished. Nice kitchen. Great little village with three very good restaurants. Be prepared to walk up and down steep cobblestone streets!

Wunderschön renoviertes Fachwerkhaus in idyllischer Lage
Als 5-köpfige Familie haben wir eine herrliche Pfingstwoche in Gueberschwihr verbracht. Das Fachwerkhaus in einer schmalen Gasse ist wunderschön renoviert, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und komfortabel ausgestattet. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit.

Ein bisschen wie im Märchenbuch...
Im pittoresken Örtchen Gueberschwihr das passende Haus. Den Garten mit seiner alten Mauer fanden wir einfach zauberhaft. Das Haus selbst ist mit Liebe zum Detail und dabei praktisch eingerichtet. In der Küche habe ich alles nötige gefunden. Bedingt durch die Lage am Hang und das Alter des Hauses gibt es ein paar Treppenstufen und Schwellen - wer nicht so gut zu Fuß ist, sollte ein bisschen aufpassen. Dafür kann das Auto direkt 'unter' dem Haus geparkt werden. Der Kontakt zu den Eigentümern war ausgesprochen nett und unkompliziert. Wir kommen bestimmt einmal wieder!

Ein charmanter Aufenthalt im Elsass
Ein sauberes, sehr schönes, gut ausgestattetes, modern saniertes altes Ferienhaus mit schönem Ambiente in einer ruhigen Umgebung und sehr netten Vermietern. Wir waren mit 5 Personen für drei Nächte in Gueberschwihr und kommen gerne wieder :)

Ein wunderschönes Häuschen
Wir als Familie mit fünf erwachsenen Personen haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt in diesem kleinen schmucken und liebevoll ausgestatteten Häuschen… Einziger Wermutstropfen war der durch die Zeitumstellung frühe checkliste um 10 uhr… Aber das wussten wir ja vorher… Die Gastgeber waren herzlich und überraschten uns sogar zu Ostern mit einem köstlichen Kouglhopf… Das Domizil und die Umgebung können wir nur empfehlen…
