The house location was as described, the interior was uncomfortable due to the decor and excessive clutter. It felt like staying in a deceased relative's house. Lots of old-fashioned objects, doilies, and clutter on every surface.
In the kitchen, every cupboard and drawer was crammed with a mess of utensils, and the only place to store food was in the fridge, again, canisters, placemats, plastic boxes of cloths, ornaments on top of the microwave, and on every surface, from windowsills to every flat surface, vases of old silk flowers on the floor, old records.

With a good decluttering, the space could easily be inviting, calm, and relaxing. A shower curtain would also have been useful. The best aspect was sitting on the terrace watching the full moon rise, which was delightful.
