Good Room & Facilities
Stayed here for two nights in room 609.
The hotel is 2 minutes walk from Gyeongju intercity bus terminal as well as buses departing for the main sights of the city, including the number 10 bus for Bulguksa Temple. There’s lots of restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area too.
I arrived too early to check-in, so I just left my bags at reception on the 5th floor. After checking in, my room was on the 6th floor, although there’s an elevator to all the floors. The hotel and room looked like it was fairly new, so everything looked fresh and up to date. The room has the look and feel of a business class hotel. The double bed had a firm, but comfortable mattress and slightly overkill 3 pillows. There was a desk, with the usual amenities such as coffee, biscuits and a kettle. There’s even moisturiser, skin toner, hair spray and a hairdryer. Underneath the desk was a mini fridge with a mini bar. A large TV hangs on the wall, directly opposite the bed. The only things I didn’t like were that the A/C didn’t seem to work at all, and the curtains which had an open weave and let in too much light.
The bathroom had a frosted door with a shower, toilet and plenty of space. The latter didn’t have a geyser though. The shower worked well, had a strong flow and hot water was readily available.
Overall, I had a good stay. The location is perfect for travellers. If the A/C had been working, I would’ve given 5/5.
