Great Getaway
Everything was perfect! Just wish it were for a bit longer. Location, neighborhood, everything was clean, comfy, and perfect for 6 adults, and our daughter came from Beaumont with the grandbaby and spent an afternoon with us!

House was fully equipped with 5 beds and 2 bathrooms and a kitchen that had all of the necessities needed for our four night stay. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a clean, quiet neighborhood close to Lake Calcasieu.

Best VRBO we have ever rented!
We travel a lot for work, so we have stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals! This one is the nicest we have stayed in! Beyond clean, stocked with the best of the best of everything.... from the sheets on the bed to the dishes and appliances in the kitchen. It's a beautiful, quiet, peaceful getaway. We have zero complaints and would highly recommend!!

It was great stay while we were there playing softball. The only thing was we had a lot of flies and on the last day we were sweeping and moved the couch and found a rotten tomato. Beside that it was fine.

Last year ac went out during stay. 85 degrees for 2 days in the house. A.C. repairman in and out. We were graceful and understanding….. no bad reviews- asked for nothing. It’s a rental, old worn out furniture, TV downstairs hasn’t worked for months, what looked like blood on a blanket. I put tape on the cameras for privacy and this guy threatened to have us removed by force. Sent someone over to remove tape. I wish him well, but I take issue with someone in another state monitoring my family while on vacation. Not what I paid for.

There was a pice of trim hang from the ceiling the tv has a line down the center . The tv under the carport is busted . The washer sound like it coming apart . If you stay and clean fish make sure it super clean or you will pay a extra $125 for cleaning fee .

I was looking for a place that allowed pets and saw this house. Very nice clean place, well stocked with all comforts of home. It was short drive to the beach and then come back here. I would love to stay here again next time we go to beach.

Good spot super clean!
Leave your boiling pot at home. This camp is well stocked and has everything you could possibly need for a weekend in hackberry. The owner was welcoming and friendly. We will return to stay again.
