Everything was great. Service ambiance the big oval dining room was great. The staff is extremely friendly and polite. Love the people. Fantastic vintage nostalgic hotel. The good old days. I had the burger with frites. Excellent burger fries a tad salty. I had the eggs Benedict. Too salty and the hollandaise sauce was a tad off.

My stay was awkward a celebrity was also staying at hotel staff seemed very on edge I felt uncomfortable going through main lobby to go outside The room service was very timely and the food was amazing! I booked through Expedia two rooms one for a colleague he then paid for his room at desk in am was told no receipt could be provided because room was paid for on Expedia I still have full charge on my credit card a week later.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The service was excellent as well. We didn't eat at the hotel due to limited vegan choices. The city was littered and run down, not what I expected. There were pockets of beauty near forks and the Assiniboine river, but other parts were gritty.

Such an elegant setting… it would be easy for the people who work here to be snobby and rude. However, this has not been the case. The parking and the layout of the city near here are quite confusing (especially with summer construction) and the people with the valet parking service have been very prompt and incredibly helpful. Staff members have found that perfect balance between professionalism and warmth! Also, the service in The Brasserie was phenomenal!!!!!

Tired old dame in need of an upgrade
Tired old dame in need of a few upgrades, especially the plumbing. Staff were polite but distant, as if they didn't want to be working there. Uniformed porter smoking a cigarette outside the front door, really? Most annoying was a wedding reception on the 7th floor that blasted loud music into our 8th floor room until 12:30 am. I don't want to be a party pooper, but at least give a heads up to guests that they won't be able to sleep until past midnight. I'm glad to have checked this off my bucket list of hotels to visit, but won't return. Alt hotel, despite the location, offered better accommodations at one third the price.
