Rosemary Cottage is the best kept secret because you are in the heart of Hamilton which is a small town that is 5 miles to Callaway Gardens. This 1901 house has updated heat, air conditioning, and hot water.This home is 2,700 square feet and our families love all the room. Rosemary Cottage is walking distance to shops and restaurants in Hamilton, Ga. We also have the Man O' War trail directly in front of the home. This is an 18 mile recreational trail that goes from Hamilton to Pine Mountain. We are 25 minutes from Ft. Moore and a great get away for Military families to enjoy their time off. Our guest have LOVED this location because they can get to Columbus , Pine Mountain, Lagrange, and Warm Springs because we are centrally located and just a 10 to 25 min drive to everything.

About the home:
Rosemary Cottage was built in 1901 in the heart of Hamilton Georgia.The home has been completely updated so you can enjoy the charm with modern comforts. This home sits on a half acre lot and you will feel like you are in a private oasis surrounded by magnolia trees and beautiful gardens. This 2,700 sq ft cottage is charming and the moment you walk in you will feel like you are back in the 1900's. My husband and I made sure each piece of furniture fit the time frame of the home. Rosemary Cottage is a ranch style home with 13 feet ceiling and large molding through out the home. This home has four bed rooms and 2 full bathrooms. We have a beautiful garden/sunroom where you will want to cuddle up and read a book. Our guest favorite area of the home has been the porches. They love to sip on their morning coffee and take in each of the three large southern porches. We want you to let Rosemarys home melt all the worry away and enjoy a relaxing vacation that feels like you have step back in time when life was simple. When you arrive you will be greeted with snacks, cold water, and a bottle of wine in the fridge. We also have a lovely coffee bar that will help you unwind while enjoying a book under beautiful large trees.

Why are we different that most VRBOs? Our family used to visit Pine Mountain three time a year and we have tried many VRBOs in the area and we always had to bring the Keurig and several items to make the VRBO have the comforts of our home. We have gone above and be on to make sure you have almost everything that you need to feel nestled in and able to enjoy your trip. We have shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, hand soap, dish soap, and laundry detergent. Our beds are brand new and have 2 layers of blanket to make sure that you can be commutable no matter what the season is. Each guest will get 2 pillows with chocolates on their beds when the arrive. The 2 queen rooms and king room come with robes. YES ROBES!!! (We want you to feel like you are at home.) If you like to cook we have a FULL stock kitchen for you. There is nothing worse then getting ready to cook in a VRBO that does not have what you need to cook with. We even have china, silver, and nice glasses to celebrate you finest celebrations. We hope that you make many memories in this home and look forward to visiting often. There is a coffee bar with a Keurig, creamer, sugars, coffee, and tea included. Welcome to the South were we want you to feel welcome into Rosemarys home. We have a large washer and dryer, hair dryers in each bathroom, board games, cards, puzzles and great books to read. We even have small coolers, picnic basket, and picnic table cloth ready to go for you. You are surrounded by beauty and you should slow down and enjoy a picnic in the surrounding areas. In the evening enjoy a fire pit with s'mores and a glass of wine in our gorgeous back yard. We even have umbrellas to keep you dry on your walk to the ice cream shop.

Dogs: Dogs are welcome to our home. We charge $25 a day per dog and up to 2 dogs who are under 50 pounds.

Staying at Rosemary's cottage felt like stepping into my grandmother's home, where every corner revealed a delightful surprise that brought back cherished memories. Our family spent a whole week at Rosemary’s Cottage. The house is a true gem - much like our lovely hosts! Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in the door. Katie, our hostess, is so thoughtful, leaving snacks and cold drinks to greet us upon arrival. The bedrooms are well appointed with so many thoughtful touches. The kitchen is stocked for any occasion and immaculately kept. The wraparound porch is a dream. We didn’t want to leave!! Great place for a laidback break from life.

Charming Stay
My Husband and I wanted a peaceful place to stay for our 30th Anniversary and we definitely found it. The house was charming and neighborhood was so charming , it made you feel like you stepped back in time . When Katie found out it was our Anniversary she went out of her way to have champagne and wine and the nicest little card waiting on us when we got there . The house was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was equipped with everything we needed . I especially loved reading about the history of the home . We sat on the porch every morning and night and listened to the birds sing their songs . We brought our electric bikes and enjoyed the trail that was right in front of the house and the trail is a beautiful ride. We went to Hamilton Ice Cream a few times , great Ice cream and the cutest little place . We also got a casserole to go by Dinner ready by Chad that the little boutique sells , it was so good and made dinner so easy we wish we could have took some home with us . Thank you for sharing your charming home with us .

After spending long days at a horse show it was wonderful to come home to this incredibly clean house for a hot shower, fluffy towels, a robe, and a comfortable bed. Even the fragrance of the home was lovely. We enjoyed reading about the history of the home and thinking about all the life lived there. We didn't cook during our stay but enjoyed the snacks and coffee. What a delight that during our stay the gardenias were in bloom and there were baby birds in the flower pot by the door.

Best VRBO I’ve ever seen
The phrase ‘Southern Charm’ does not adequately capture this home. The pictures do not do justice to the quality of the home’s interior, it’s simply breathtaking. We enjoyed the tranquility of the small town, my whole family was able to unwind and relax. This is far and away the best home we have ever stayed in with VRBO.

This property is clean, warm, and fantastic. This was our second stay at Rosemary’s cottage. My adult children loved the charm and flow of the house. We assembled a large puzzle, walked the town, and just enjoyed each other’s company. Great place to stay and wonderful host.

Me, my husband and another couple needed some time away to de-stress. This was the perfect home and town. There are areas around Hamilton to visit within a short ride - Pine Mountain, Callaway Gardens, LaGrange, and Columbus. We did the drive through in our vehicle for the Christmas lights at Callaway. This was the first place I rented that provided so many extra amenties. There were snacks, coffee, and drinks available. The house was super clean and neat. The beds were great. I did not find anything negative with any thing. You won't be dissapointed if you stay in Rosemary's Cottage!

We absolutely loved staying at Rosemarys Cottage! The home is so welcoming and inviting. This is truely a home away from home. There are too many thoughtful details to list. We have been traveling to this area for the past couple of years and can honestly say this has been the absolute best place we have ever stayed. This adorable quaint house has tons of room. It feels like home, even though it isn’t your home. We loved the history of the home shared, very touching. It left us wanting more! Town is perfect and walking distance, small town living at its best. Good tacos and coffee shop within a block. We really enjoyed the walking path that is right outside your front yard. We are already talking about making another trip. The host was absolutely the best in communication. Just the sweetest, might have to send her a Christmas card because she was so thoughtful. It’s great proximity to callaway gardens, pine mountain. And a short drive to Columbus area. We could not have asked for more. If we could rate it higher, we would!!! Thank you for allowing us to make some great family memories.

This property was adorable and Katie was the best host! If you are in this area and need a place to stay with several rooms, this is the perfect option. All the rooms are large and have everything you need and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils, pans, coffee cups, and a Keurig. Tons of space in this home to spread out and enjoy time together. Katie had snacks waiting for us which were a lifesaver. There is a small coffee shop within walking distance. We truly enjoyed our time here! Thanks, Katie!

Wonderful Retreat
We stayed at Rosemary's cottage for our son's basic training graduation. The place is quiet, spacious, and within the 50 mile radius of Fort Moore. We enjoyed cooking him meals and relaxing. The ice cream shop is a short walk away and we went every night. This is a great find and we will stay here if we get the chance again.

Rosemary's Cottage saved our weekend!
After having arrived at a different property with no power on a day in the 90s F, our family of eight and dog were panicked that we wouldn't find a place in the Pine Mountain area that would be able to house us all. We were in the area for a horse show at Poplar Place. A quick search on VRBO located Rosemary's Cottage in Hamilton. The hosts were quick to answer our last minute booking and were wonderfully gracious. What a find this was! The property was like having a private bread and breakfast for our family. It was beautiful and it far exceeded our original rental in literally every way. Clean, well furnished, big comfy beds, fast wifi, large bathrooms, large kitchen, and plenty of space for dining (and board games of which we had a blast playing as a family). There's a lovely fenced in backyard if you have a dog with you as we did. Our hosts even left a welcome basket! From the front porch swing, you can watch neighbors on the walking / biking path and can see over to the main street in Hamilton. The house is on a quiet street across from this great little ice cream shop with a nice sandwich shop next door. It is conveniently located to Callaway Gardens and FD Roosevelt Park as well as Poplar Place for you equestrians out there. If you like restored homes and history, the hosts have left a wonderful guide that details the history of the home and how it came to be known as Rosemary's Cottage. That said, we had a lovely time and would love to stay there again!
