Great central location, close to the mall, SkyCity Casino, restaurants, and bars. Our stay was nice, though some nights there were loud noises from homeless people outside. They kept to themselves and didn’t bother us. Parking was a challenge – Ramada’s parking was full, and the free lot was cramped. We opted for SkyCity’s secure underground parking for $28 per day. Room had a slight damp smell but was otherwise fine.

I think I had the last room available in the hotel, and the room was fine, but it did look out to a wall and a few windows and if I had been a slightly bigger person I would have really struggled to sit on the toilet. Unfortunately, having the window open just allowed the smell of the restaurants around in. That said, it was a cheap, last minute booking and was fine for my very short-term needs.

The check in guy was very blasé with responses to questions about the parking and laundry facilities. He gave us coins for the machines, but told us the incorrect cost, hence we needed to return for more change. The breakfast was the poorest of any breakfast we have had on this trip. I had to call the lady to inform her that there was no bacon in the tray. This was with an hour left for breakfast dining, and with only one other customer eating there. They did not pay any attention to detail. I would never stay there again,

Poor cleanliness, small, cramped room.
I was allocated room 211. When I went into the room it smelt like a sewer. Drains were filthy and looked like they had not been cleaned for some time. My colleagues who were on the same floor also complained about this. I was moved to room 303 upon request which was much better. I won't be staying at the hotel again.

The Ramada was not what I expected. The superior room that I initially booked was very small and requested a room upgrade without an issue. Whilst the restaurant attached to the motel was impressive, I found the building was very old. The rooms were partially renovated and very clean. The location is ideal and very close to shops and other amenities.

Beautiful stay with my family for one night. The checkin and checkout process was simple and easy. We were lucky enough to get a carpark for the night. Easy distance to great restaurants. Facilities were good! Bathroom and rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable too The breakfast buffet was perfect, eggs were the best ive had at any hotel buffet ever. Highly recommend this place.
