Out with the old and in with the new.
The hotel is under renovation. It is difficult to rate it based on where it is now. Big things look to be happening.

Shuttle drivers were very friendly. Pool was unavailable for remodeling. No advance notice had been given. Advertised free breakfast was unavailable for remodeling. Again no advance notice given. Zero customer service at check-in. Slid paper across counter with key and said initial and sign. No communication or directions to elevators, rooms, etc. Very rundown and old hotel.

An unexpected 2am wakeup
Sometime around 2am the front desk assigned my room to someone else. Imagine my surprise when someone came into my room. All the front desk said was "I didn't think anyone was in the room". It was a horrible experience, barely slept after that.

Hot water issue
1st had to switch rooms. There was no cable boxes in the entire suite. In the 2nd room, the hot water in the sink did not work, had to was hands in tub. But the bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.

Have stayed there multiple times in the past year and have had key card issues but not to the effect of being locked out of my room Maintenance did all he could to get me back in but took over an hr and had to wake up all the guests next to me so we could attempt to get in my room finally got in and packed up my stuff and went elsewhere Wasn’t even offered an upgraded room just we will move you next door General Manager had no explanation why or anything to make me want to come back.

The hotel was under construction and was very dusty. It affected our health so we had to go to another hotel in the area. The Grand Hotel would not refund us because we booked through Expedia. How do we get Expedia to refund us??

No where did it say the entire motel was under construction/renovation. The pool and Jacuzzi ( the reason I choose this motel) was completely disassembled. Piles of garbage bags in the hall. The front desk person didn't ask for any information signatures anything, just gave me my keys and was done, didn't even tell me where The room was. No wifi. It was just I'd say, not at all ready for guests

This property is under renovation. No breakfast or other dining available. Bed springs were hard to sleep on, pillows were lumpy, towels were thin, shower curtain was torn, shower curtain rod was falling off the wall. Don’t stay here till they finish renovation.
