    A very busy large city. We took a taxi to the train station to catch a train to Huzhou. At Huzhiou we took taxi to Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort to view the glamourous round hotel. Well worth the 1hr effort to get there. The next day we headed to West lake. A very popular area to take a walk and we also managed to cross the viaduct by electric trolley. Near one of the West lake entrances was a new restaurant called 'Steam Young'. It was a great experience. Every dish was steamed.

    The room is clean and spacious. The staff are friendly. Check-in and Check-out are very fast. But the Wifi is slow. Need to improve.

    Great hotel for a place to rest. But traffic jams to hotel at peak hours can be a big pproblem

    If you want to stay here , bring your own tissue paper.. otherwise use the toilet paper. Stay here - comes with free SET breakfast, which does not allow you decide how your eggs is to be cooked. It is a standard set menu..

    Great hotel with no air-con (well in April)
    The hotel attempted hard to be a 5-star hotel, with matching sky lobby and grand room. One word of warning: no central air-conditioning even in April (not sure if it's the hotel or some government initiatives). The room was so warm I couldn't go to sleep.

    Good shopping area but the rooms stunk of smoke
    We asked for non smoking but the rooms were heavy with cigarette smoke right through to the pillows and blankets on the beds. Something in the bed made us itch all night (both rooms the same) I would suggest if you are not chinese do not book this hotel. It is not to an international standard.

    Location and convenience
    It was a relaxing stay but the breakfast was for one only. My spouse had to make do with some buns we bought the night before. Breakfast was varied, equal mix of Western and Sino foods. The bathroom was a bit dated...the drain in the shower flows quite slowly so we had to use the bathtub to wash ourselves. Bed was soft and comfortable. The location was quite good...Its about a kilometer walk to the West Lake and there are a few shopping malls nearby too for lunch and dinner. The closest subway stop was Wulin Guanchang, which is about 500m walk away. I enjoy my stay but would feel a lot better if my spouse was able to enjoy the hotel breakfast too.

    Its my 2nd stay. Excellent value for money. Most impressed with staff attitude. From the 1st level conceige to 25th flr front desk to chamber maids special mention to lobby cafe personel. Great job guys!

    Top marks for great service all around
    Although my Chinese is not to good I felt comfortable on arriving at the Grand as being warmly welcomed at the taxi by the staff of the hotel with there better English then my Chinese I was then taken to Reception on the 25th Floor were the first class service continued And the great service continued for the four days we were at the Grand with one Breakfast part of the deal the other cost was irrelevant was excellent with smiles and warm welcomes continuing the Grand could not be faulted moving around the city of Hangzhou as our welcoming journey continued smiles all around.

    Booked 3 rooms from hotels.com ,when we were check in,been told not have our booking detail on there system at all. We had to call hotels.com customer service to sort it.this is the only things that we were not happy about our staying.Over all the hotel location is good, room cleaness were averge.

    I have decided to extend my stay for another night due to the convenient location and excellent services. A minor complain is the construction noise, which I guess will go away after the neighborhood development is completed.

    Handy light controls and Excellent service
    I stayed in this hotel for a conference trip as it is significantly less expensive than the conference hotel and taxi trips are very affordable in Hangzhou. I was impressed by their services and would recommend the hotel. The light controls were very handy, in contrast to many hotels I have stayed.

    We found the hotel to be very good value. It is located in a shopping area (if that is your thing). we spent much of our time around West Lake and either walked, jogged or took the subway to get there.

    great spot for shopping and also 30 min walk to West Lake. Hotel is very professional and breakfast magnificent. Would be the best hotel I've stayed in within China.Get a top floor because the traffic noise hideous, as it is elsewhere in Hangzhou
