KITCHEN
The state-of-the-art kitchen has just about everything a gourmet chef could need to prepare a tasty meal. Outfit with stainless steel appliances and a 6-burner gas range, there are plenty of tools, appliances, and glassware to cater to your crew. A few notable items include crock pot, air fryer, blender, Keurig with a selection of Starbucks coffee pods and a standard coffee maker. The kitchen has seating for at least 8 around the massive island and views of the fireplace and Smart TV in the living room. A 4-burner gas grill is just outside the kitchen door for all your grilling needs. Second refrigerator/freezer in the garage.

OUTDOOR SPACE
New patio! Beautiful, peaceful, and private wooded property is perfect for reconnecting with family and friends. Enjoy a star-lit night by the fire or watch a picture-perfect sunset in an Adirondack chair on the wraparound deck. Enjoy Happy hour under the gazebo or come home from a round of golf or a day on the slopes and soak in the 8-person hot tub overlooking the valley below.

LIVING AREAS
*MAIN FLOOR
The main floor living areas boasts a two-story vaulted windows showcase the natural beauty this home sits among. It features a sectional sofa that’s so comfortable, you’ll never want to get up. The wood-burning fireplace will keep you cozy on cold northern Michigan nights. There is a 60” smart TV for enjoying a family movie or catching the big game.

*LOWER LEVEL
Looking for a place to quietly relax? Do your kids need an entertainment space of their own? The basement living room is a great spot! There is a reclining leather sofa and two comfortable loveseats surrounding a 60” smart TV. A beverage station complete with drink fridge will keep your thirst quenched. The ping pong room is right off this living room making this a perfect place to watch a game between matches.

BEDROOMS
*MAIN - 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Shared bathroom with tub/shower combo.

*UPSTAIRS - Primary King bdrm with cathedral ceilings, powder room with Keurig coffee maker, large walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with huge shower and jacuzzi tub. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, Bedroom 3 has a full bed. Both share a bathroom with step-in shower.

*DOWNSTAIRS – Bedroom 1 has a King bed and sitting area. Bedroom 2 features 2 single bunk beds (sleeps 4 total) and a queen bed, perfect for families or kids. There is a shared bathroom with step-in shower.

SKI LOCKER
This unique feature of our home is one of the greatest! The ski locker off the garage foyer is a prime spot to get ready for the day. There are six spots complete with hooks and shelves to store all your snow gear. There are hangers in the garage for your skis and snowboards as well. This space gives you a great area to keep gear out of the way and organized.

LAUNDRY
Full-sized washer and dryer are on the upper floor with plenty of counter space to fold laundry. Detergent and fabric softener are available should you need.

OFFICE
Have a bit of work to do on vacation? The office on the upper floor is a beautiful room with custom glass doors that fill the space with natural light. There even is a switch for the lights outside the door should you need a way to signal to your crew that you are on a meeting. Wifi boosters throughout the house to maximize efficiency.

TRAVELING WITH KIDS?
We understand how difficult it can be to travel with all the kid essentials. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We provide a pack-n-play (not including sheets), highchair, and kids’ dinnerware to save you the hassle.

TRAVELING WITH DOGS?
We know how important your 4-legged family members are and we want to make travel as easy as possible. We provide a large crate, doggie bowls, towels, blankets, and poop bags. We also have enzyme-based cleaners – we know accidents happen. Driveway salt is pet-safe.

Perfect house for large groups

Stayed here for a combined bachelor/bachelorette trip. Beautiful secluded house with great views and plenty of space for large groups. Close to skiing and wineries/breweries. We really enjoyed the kitchen and outdoor/hot tub area. Also great communication from hosts.

Amazing house for large group of people

Great place for the 60th wedding anniversary of my parents - was perfect to be together yet spacious enough we each had our own space when we needed it. Ages 8-83. Nearby attractions for those who wanted to see places like Mackinac Island, golfing, fishing, etc. Kitchen was great for participatory cooking or just hanging out.

Perfect Family Gathering

Great locale for a Winter family gathering. The Hideaway has it all ... plenty of room, well appointed kitchen, great spaces for games, movies, and conversation - and places to sneak in some alone time. The hot tub was well visited as were the surrounding woods. And location to shopping, groceries and skiing made it super convenient even while still feeling like you're away from the crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway and the house was perfect for our large family gathering. We particularly loved the quiet location, close to Harbor Springs. There is great hiking, boating and beach access close by so we had plenty to keep us busy.

Perfect spot for winter northern Michigan get-a-way

This property provides ample room for a group of family and friends to spend time together but not feel on top of each other. Kitchen was well appointed with appliances, dishes, cups and silverware. Aside from a problem with the stove, everything went smooth. Our group rallied to overcome no working stove and still provide delicious food. Communication with host was prompt. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Great ski weekend

The Hideaway was an amazing find! We had 4 families there for a long ski weekend. The house easily fit everyone (18). It was big enough for privacy but still cozy for lounging. The pictures online really don’t fully show the beauty of the surrounding property. We were all blown away with how peaceful and private the home was. We loved looking out on the snow covered hills in the morning while drinking our coffee as well as relaxing and taking in the views in the outdoor hot tub after a long day skiing. The fireplace was really cozy and kept the house warm. Very well appointed home. The kids loved the basement. The hosts were so helpful and very approachable with any quick questions. We’d love to stay here in the summer too. Hope to be back next winter!

Gorgeous Home! Perfect for groups of all sizes

This house and property are amazing! Between the great room, kitchen and main basement area there is no shortage of common places to kick back and relax. There are tons of bedrooms to accommodate groups of all make-ups and sizes and the master suite is absolutely spectacular. Nate and Chaya were great to work with when we had questions. I would definitely stay here again!

The Hideaway

Nate was great to rent from and communicated well. Overall the place was great for a larger group with lots of places to spread out and a solid kitchen with lots of supplies. The bedroom layout was nice and the beds were very comfortable. The porch, firepit, and hot tub were all great places to relax. A few small issues were cleanliness of glasses when we arrived, the hot tub was under repair for a few days (which was fixed and worked great), porch had bird droppings, and there was some dog hair in the rugs. I would definitely rent again!

Overall the place was really nice. Very spacious and plenty of room for our group of 16 with enough bathrooms to handle all of us getting ready for outings. Has a nice kitchen and was stocked well for cooking. Beds were clean and comfortable. We did have an issue with the hot tub being very unclean from the previous guests and lost 2 days of use and an electrical issue causing 2 bedroom to be without power the first night. But, I must say the owner was easy to get in touch with and very responsive and got both issues resolved as fast as could be expected. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone.

Northwoods relaxation

The Hideaway is a unique, spacious and relaxing place to get away from everything. We had ample room for a family of 17 and were so happy with the peaceful setting in the woods. The kitchen is large with everything you need. The hot tub, fire pit and wrap-around deck are great places to sit and relax and converse with friends and family. There is room for the entire family to spread out and do their own thing. We loved it!!

We were looking for a house for our family trip. This property exceeded all expectations! It is a beautiful house, fully stocked kitchen, fire pit, outdoor jacuzzi and lots of space for our family! The lower level has 2 bedrooms and a large living area. It was perfect for our son, daughter in law and their 1 1/2 year old! There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and 3 on the second level! The master bedroom is huge with a large walk in closet and a very spacious bathroom. Everything was clean! There was plenty of space and our favorite room was the sunroom right off the kitchen! It was cozy and our family of 8 seemed to congregate in that room. It is a great house! My family already requested we book this again! We were close to Harbor Springs. The hosts were attentive and professional! We loved everything about this property!

The house was perfect for our big group. It’s not always easy finding a house that can accommodate a big group. This house was perfect for us! About a 10 min drive to ski. The hosts were great with responding to any questions.
