it is overrated hotel only worth 1000 to 1200 INR
AC have no remote and to change temperature you have to call room service who will come and climb the chair to change it for you. Toilet flush is not working properly, need to upgrade.

Staff and the cheff were so accommodating.
We had dietary restrictions. The cheff was so accommodating, we had fantastic food. We never went out to eat while we were there. Good job hotel Urmi!

Good for a night halt
Stayed for a night in Feb'17. Cost was approx. 13GBP. Room and bathroom was very clean. They managed to provide us mineral water bottles even when we asked at midnight. Bed matress was comfortable but pillows were not (personally speaking). Room didnt have windows for fresh air. Didnt use TV or AC. Toilet flush was shut off so had to turn it on manually. Minor hassle.

Overall a very great experience. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious, bathroom was good. We had our breakfast at the restaurant there. Food was tasty and very filling. Only thing was that this place is ~4km from Har Ki pauri where there are quite a few temples and the Bazaar for shopping. If you have a car with you, then even the distance is not a problem. I would definitely stay there next time I visit Haridwar.

Great value for money!
Great value for money - there is absolutely no doubt! The hotel is in a residential colony which is a slight downside as it is away from the city. However, the construction is really good and so are the interiors. The restaurant serves only vegetarian thali and it is similar to a well-cooked home meal. All of us loved it! The service is quicker than you normally see elsewhere.They could provide tea-making facilities in the room as an added feature but its not really important.Transportation is not a problem as autos/cars are available at a short notice.

It is a more than 3 star hotel
Excellent Hotel comparing others in the same category. Hotel in new, very nicely built and decorated. Very courteous staff, every person I came across was ready to fulfill your request. Excellent food for breakfast,lunch and dinner. Our stay was really good. I personally would like to thank the owner of the property to hire such an excellent staff. I ran into big problem which they resolved very smartly. I specifically like to thank Mr.Deshraj, Ms Arti and Mr. Ashish. Please keep it up your good service, I definitely will stay at your hotel when I visit Haridwar again.

I had booked 3 rooms for 3 nights at Urmi for me and my extended family.All the rooms were nice clean and comfortable.Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Hotel has an affordable restaurant which serves good Indian food. Only negative is the hotel's location - outside the main city center but easily accessible by taxis and autorikshaws

Excellent in all sense. Excellent Food, Excellent Service, Excellent Room. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Haridwar. Economical in terms of the Price and Food Charges. Staff were of great help in terms of arranging local transport to Station even at 23:30 in the night. Staff were also of great help in terms of arranging taxi services for local sight seeing.

I stayed in room 205.This room has no balcony.
I stayed in room 205.This room has no balconycoz their are a couple of ac's in the back which is supposed to be balcony.the ac sound in the night is loud.The flush in the bathroom is not ok.avoid this room if possible or check before you get in.Rest of the hotel is good specially the food and staff are excellent.

The Hotel is is a good one. My experience on quality of service at this Hotel is really very good. Amenities are good. Though, the hotel is at a bit distance from Har Ki Pauri ghat and Railway station however the mode of communication (Auto) is frequent and cheap.

Good hotel far away from hustle bustle
We had booking for 2 days (1st to 3rd June'14). Due to late running of train, we could reach Haridwar on 2nd June at 01-30 hrs. We could locate a three wheeler who agreed to take us to the hotel but charged Rs. 250/-. We bargained and finally he agreed to take us to the hotel for Rs. 150/- with the condition that he would pick-up more passengers, if available. We had to agree and he picked up 5 more passengers on our way. We reached hotel at about 2 AM and were allotted room No. 105. The room, though small, was OK. We had to vacate the room at around 11-30 AM on 3rd June though we had train at 12.50 AM on 4th June. The hotel was kind enough to keep our luggage till night and allow my wife, who fell sick, to rest in the lobby. But our search for a hotel near Har-ki-Pauri was not fulfilled as for taking a bath in the holy river, we had to hire three wheeler and then walk down about 1 KM. Other places of interest are also far off.
