This creekside property is a nature-lover's paradise! It includes 3 spacious bedrooms on the second floor that can sleep 7 comfortably. There is an eat in kitchen, living room with smart TV and a reading room. Wireless internet available throughout the house. Air conditioning throughout the house. Washer and dryer on site as well. At night, a fire pit creates the perfect setting for outdoor relaxation. (Firewood provided by hosts) Large wooden swing in yard by creek to enjoy the wildlife and evening sunsets. Spend your days fishing, swimming kayaking, or simply lounging by the water. You can easily take a day trip to Gettysburg, Baltimore, Washington, DC and Hershey Park. The property was conveniently located for where we needed to be. It was a wonderful setting. The trains do run very close to the house so you do hear them quite often.

Perfect Setting
We loved our stay on the creek. We saw deer and bald eagles, enjoyed fly fishing, spending time by the fire, and exploring. The central location was perfect for visiting Gettysburg, Hershey, or even DC. Mike was great! We'd highly recommend a visit.

The kids fell asleep to the sound of a gentle creek flowing and wind in the leaves. A charming and thoughtfully-renovated old farm house. Was able to connect with nature, history, and family. Fast Wifi. Great for families. Creek is very healthy and clear, fire pit was fantastic.

The house is super cute, great location, and the hosts were awesome! Quick to respond and even bought us a baby gate for the stairs! Bonus we were able to launch kayaks from the backyard! We will definitely stay again.

We had a great time at the house. Everything we needed was there. The house was charming, well furnished, and appointed, and the creek was absolutely gorgeous. The owners were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a quiet area, I would highly recommend!

Perfect holiday
This spot was perfect for our family of 4, plus our dog. The house was extremely clean, had more than enough room, and even had some basic provisions. The location couldn’t be better. We were just 7 minutes from our family in Carlisle; there were several options for peaceful, gorgeous walks, and it had the sound of the big creek flowing by. Our host was right next door and communicated when needed, but we never saw them (a plus). I will definitely stay there again.

Such a calming, beautiful place.
Mike and Sue's home was cleaned, stocked with everything we'd need (and a welcome bottle of wine to boot!) The setting was so calming with the babbling creek just off the porch. We had a fire each night (logs provided) too. Mike couldn't have been more helpful solving a TV glitch that came up, coming over at dinner time to help solve it. The nearby train whistle could be an issue for some but overall, it was a great stay.

Beautiful little place
My brothers and I get together every year in the fall for a few days, and this property was one of the best we've ever stayed at. Perfect location next to the trout stream, great outdoor firepit and relatively secluded. Convenient for a trip to Gettysburg and nearby hiking trails.

Natures Doorstep
One step off the back porch one is enveloped in sounds of nature, a babbling brook and birds, crickets, and creatures. Trees and a stream, a fire ring and firewood, chairs and a picnic table ... such a peaceful place to chill after a long, hard day of play. The old turn of the century house is clean and functional. The hosts are delightful.
