we booked a king bed A week in advance we got Two Queen beds instead..they called this a up grade. Not sure how this would be considered a up grade? Not that I have anything agents People that smoke weed but it would of been nice if they did not let people use the parking lot as a weed smoking area. We have a brand new car kind of makes you feed unsafe..also when we got there is when they informed us we hade to pay for parking. Not that big of a deal but worth mentioning..the good part.. the hotel is pretty dated it looks like the carpets been there since day one in the hallways and the paint.. But the rooms are relatively clean.. cleaning staff was extraordinarily nice..and it is close to most things we wanted to do. I would just not recommend this hotel for anybody that has children..

Great Location, But Needs a TOTAL OVERHAUL!!
The only pleasant thing about this hotel/motel, was the kind customer greeting at the front desk and the beds were clean and very comfy. Other then that the hotel in old, dusty and and rundown. Definitely in need of a total renovation. The hallways are dark and and moldy smelling, with very worn and rundown looking carpet that must be at least 20 years old. You get in the room and there is more old and worn carpet, the furniture is falling apart and the desk chair has rips in it and it worn and unsturdy. I as afraid to walk barefoot in the room. The walls were dirty and scuffed and had liquid streaks on them. The bathroom seemed clean and a little updated, but we bought our own cleaner to disinfect that as well, based on the condition of the rest of the room.

The location and area are great, as was the staff. The property itself is falling apart. Our secondary lock was hanging off it's hinges and needed a repair when we checked in. The ceiling was coming down in the bathroom and the toilet would not flush properly. We also had to request turndown service two days in a row before we actually received it. Also, there were outlets in our room that were not working and stains on the walls and the doors. Also, the room was listed as a double queen, it was a double full.

This Hotel has Seen Better Days
Listed amentity states "Parking Available" but fails to states "Parking is Available for a Fee (of $10), even with a booked reservation. Listed amenity states "Free Buffet Breakfast". We were told that the buffet-style breakfast is only available on the weekends. Hotel has cleanliness issues both in the public areas and inside of the room. A large For Sale-Redevelopment sign is posted at the entrance to the property.

Service and staff were super friendly and made check in quick! Room was clean but showed sign of age. Needs some updating but felt clean. Loud talking and smoking something out the window in the middle of the night that the smell came into the room but overall a clean hotel

The property could use a good sprucing up a bit. Like reattach the wallpaper to the wall and fix the toilets so they flush properly. Breakfast wasn't bad but wasn't all that great either, it needed a little more variety and better coffee. The carpets need replaced and the front desk needs to be bigger.

There is no wifi only in the lobby and partially in the hallway. They double charge for the security deposit and then make it like it's your room fee. The housekeeping staff half way clean the room. Unless you are checking out or catch housekeeping while cleaning the empty rooms they will not refresh your linens, towels, or toiletries. Also the young female front desk worker is very stuck up.

Previous reviews of this location were mediocre, so I didn't expect a 5-star hotel. Comparatively, this was not a cheap place to stay in Harrisburg, as I spent over $100 for a single night on the weekend. I was completely dissatisfied. Upon arriving, I noticed multiple teenagers lounging on the sidewalk in front of the hotel near the doorways. It gave an appearance of a seedy place to stay along the river. And the experience never improved. The hallways were dimly lit and dingy and in need of a paint job; bathroom lights did not operate; the shower was dirty and off-putting; the bed mattress, upholstered armchair and carpet had large stains and the breakfast was inedible. Then, to add insult to injury, I received a $10 charge for parking. In summation, avoid this hotel at all costs.

Property is older and not very well kept. Our room didn't have any towels when we arrived. Had to shake our hands dry. We had to ask for them and they were promptly delivered, but they should have been there when we arrived. There appeared to be long term residents in whole sections of the property. The area of town seemed sketchy. Breakfast was very limited. However, room was clean and it worked for one night but won't return.
