Garden room was awesome. Sadly found the food on the Sunday Evening very disappointing The staff were excellent, the ambience of the bar area was nice. Nice touch with a tray of treats and a card on our anniversary

Perfect for a short break in North Yorkshire. This was our second visit and once again did not disappoint. Lovely comfortable room, delicious tasting food, very welcoming staff and great location.

A very pleasant stay in a lovely room. The food and service were very good and our dog was made to feel very welcome (which makes life easier!!). The Inn is welcoming and the grounds very well laid out - would recommend!

A great hotel and extremely dog friendly. Rooms, and bed, are large and comfy and we had our own enclosed, outside terrace with seating so our dog could wander in and out the room without worry of escaping (would be good for people with younger children as well) and a gate so it was easy to take our dog out without going through the hotel itself. The pub restaurant is lovely and food is delicious (both evening meals and breakfast). Staff are friendly - especially the breakfast staff who spoilt our dog with sausages. Great location to explore Yorkshire. Very reasonably priced. Thank you for having us.

Lovely stay, staff couldn’t do enough for us. We had Sunday lunch which was superb and the breakfast was amazing. Rooms were immaculate and the gardens made you feel you weren’t staying in a pub. Thoroughly recommended and if we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay here next time
