The staff were excellent, from receptionist to dining/bar staff. Our room was directly above back courtyard/bar area-on Sat afternoon loud music was playing until 9.30 pm-this was highly intrusive and annoying. We asked for a change of room but hotel was fully booked.

West Park Hotel
Great venue. The only thing that we found with room as it was on the 3rd level the furniture layout was a bit cramped and also as we are of a age of 75 felt getting in and out of the bath for either a bath or a shower the height of the bath somewhat high to get in and out of.But apart from these minor things we found the hotel was fantastic and just right to the main town area.

The West Park is a great base for visiting Harrogate. Centrally located with a lovely bar / restaurant area and a great outdoor courtyard at the back The staff are super helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend

Amazing restaurant shame about the bass
The hotel is very well placed and check in was easy and efficient. We ate in the restaurant which was unbelievably good. The food was fresh and plentiful and cooked very well (and reasonably priced). Breakfast was fantastic. Only downside was finding out when we checked in that there was a private party happening that evening. Assurances were made with a letter in the room that music would not be too loud and would all be finished by 11:30pm. While this turned out to be true, the bass from the disco was incredibly loud. A constant boom boom boom. We were on the second floor and had to turn up the TV quite loud and you could still feel it in your chest so no idea what those on the first floor suffered. Indeed on check out one guest was clearly unhappy as she settled her bill as no prior warning was given. Being our anniversary we were hoping for a nice peaceful evening with a great meal (which we got) and a bit of relaxation after a long day (which we didnā€™t).
