Despite undergoing renovations, the hotel maintained a clean and fresh atmosphere. While the lobby was in transition, our floor was completely unaffected, and the rooms were spotless, meeting all our needs perfectly. The receptionist who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Nice Room Once You Get Past The Renovation Work
Apprehensive at first, the hotel is undergoing renovations. The lobby isn’t an inviting scene at the moment, but the staff are pleasant and my room was updated, clean and secure. I was pleasantly surprised by the tidiness of the room. I’d return again.

This is probably not a fair review as the property was under renovations while we were there. This was not advertised or mentioned anywhere while booking. The lobby was a complete mess. Our rooms smelled pretty funky. We opened the windows for fresh air, but we were on the third floor and there were no screens or safety features so shut them again. The beds were ok, but the pillows felt like flat pieces of cardboard. I’m guessing most of this will be addressed with the renovation. Other than that, it’s an inexpensive place to crash for the night, the staff was super friendly, and plenty to do in the area. Would definitely stay again, but maybe after the work is complete.

The ground floor was under construction. Our 3rd floor room was redone very nice! Lobby really needed to be Sept or vacuumed from the work done in Friday when we arrived. Sat the lobby was still in the same state

And when you do lots of business with Manchester In/best Western now like today I tried to rebook my room and they kicked me out talking about that. It was reserved for other people. How can you reserve a room? I’m in for other people when I’m still in that room and was going to reserve it again unprofessional and never again will I step into Manchester In/best Westin hotel now.

I called ahead to inform the hotel that we would be a late night check in. When we arrived there was no one at the desk. We knocked on the office door, called the hotel # (which went to an answering machine), I was starting to panic. Eventually someone did come to check us in. Then I gave a credit card to pay and they still charged the card that was used to hold the reservation. Additionally, there was no breakfast although free continental breakfast is listed as an amenity. Disappointing overall.

Hotel was undergoing renovation, which we weren't aware of when we booked. Car charging station didn't work. No towels in our room. When we called front desk asking for towels, we were told that there weren't any. How will we shower tomorrow morning? No answer. The next morning, I went down to the desk and was provided towels by someone different. Terrible stay. I have stayed in worse places, but not many. Wouldn't recommend.

Despite lobby under construction, the room was AMAZING. Huge, clean, comfortable. Two things up. It was a great evening. Can’t suggest this hotel enough. It is my go to for my yearly visits to UCONN.
