Just what we were looking for
First, the property was very clean, which is a big deal for us. Checking in and out were easy. The house is about 20 minutes from town, but we wanted to be out in the mountains, so the drive was totally worth it. It’s in a beautiful area and we would stay there again.

I wanted a property outside of a town to enjoy a week of hiking in the mountains. This log home was perfect. It was clean and quiet. The location was about 30 minutes from Buena Vista and an hour from Breckenridge. I wish we could have stayed another week.

Fantastic Mountain Retreat
We have long planned for work/vacation to get away from the Georgia heat for a few weeks. We selected this listing from the many available. Absolutely stunning! The property is beautifully maintained, offering breathtaking mountain views and all the modern amenities one could wish for. The host was incredibly responsive and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal for both relaxation and adventure (and remote work too), with easy access to hiking trails and local attractions. We especially loved the cozy interior and the serene outdoor space. Highly recommend this gem for a memorable getaway!

Getaway for my wife’s birthday
I just want to start by saying that this was an ideal property for our getaway. We really enjoyed everything that this cabin has to offer. The place was clean, cozy and there was everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was nice to be able to just play games or watch movies in the evening while having a nice fire going in the wood burning stove. The owners are very nice and thoughtful.When we arrived they had a vase of flowers and a balloon on the table for my wife’s birthday. Nice touch - thank you! We look forward to returning this summer and enjoying this cabin in the warmer months.

Great mountain getaway!
Terry and Ronnie were wonderful to work with and their cabin was so cozy. We spent a weekend here with friends and two toddlers. Everything was great! The house was clean, instructions were clearly marked, etc. Close enough to Buena Vista (exactly 20 minutes) if you want to grab lunch, stop at eddyline brewing, etc, but the cabin itself felt very remote. Best of both worlds. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful, Clean Cabin
My wife and I stayed at this beautiful cabin with our dog. The place was spotless, easily the cleanest rental we've ever booked. The property is private and the surrounding area is amazingly scenic. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils needed for cooking. We stayed in the bedroom in the loft. The bed was very comfortable and the large bathroom was perfect. We stayed in November and the wood stove was easy to use and kept us very warm. We hope to stay here again in the summer to enjoy the firepit and horseshoe game.

Quiet log cabin stay
Our family (2 adults, 2 teens and our dog) had a very nice time staying at this cute log cabin in Hartsel. The cabin was super clean. There is a large bedroom upstairs in the loft area with a large 3 pc bathroom, another nice sized bedroom on the main floor with a smaller 3 pc bathroom and a huge master in the basement. There is a washer and dryer located in the finished basement with detergent, dryer sheets, etc which is a bonus. There is also a super fun arcade game with lots of game options, as well as other board games and puzzles that are also located in the basement. Wifi worked well and so did the heating. We didn’t use the wood stove or chiminea located outside but the area is very beautiful and super quiet. About a 30 minute drive to Buena Vista. The cabin had everything you would need and then some and the owners were super great to work with. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet and serene place to stay but within a short distance to hiking and other activities.

From the check in process through the check out everything was amazing! Such a beautiful cabin nestled atop a peak. The views from the couch, out the windows of the porch were breathtaking. The wrap around porch welcomes you and invites you to relax and enjoy the view. Beautifully decorated with every amenity needed. Traveled to Buena vista one day and Salida the next while trying out some fishing spots. Was able to enjoy my morning coffee with a nice fire in the wood burning stove while watching the deer traveling across the driveway. Can’t wait to book my next adventure to wanderlust.
