Privately own and operated guest house / hotel. Modern and for Cuban standards could pass as upscaled. My room however was very small and much smaller than expected from the property pictures and did not have any windows. It was also very close to the lobby door, so guests returning late and knocking to a door so the staff could let them in, unfortunately where waking me up. Unfortunately unlike a real hotel so in the area with own power generators, this property is not immune to power blackouts.

The fact that is one of the cleanest small hotels. I arrived at midnight and Igor the receptionist was waiting for me at a gated entrance and was very helpful. Transportation was made available even at 5am. The location is in old Havana and walking distance to the seashore and Malecón. The property areas around are not well kept as the Merced Luxury Boutique Hotel.

Für Kuba eine echte "Bleibe" um sich zu organisieren und Reisen in und um Havanna zu erleben. Das Wifi ist stabil, geht 23h am Tag und mehr was für Kuba außergewöhnlich zuverlässig ist. Das Frühstück ist gut, klar nicht für Deutsche die hier einfach in einer anderen Welt leben was Qualität an Frühstück betrifft. Besonders praktisch, ein günstiger Waschservice, 1USD bis 3 USD pro Wäschestück je nach Art und auch sonst sehr günstig. Das Wasser am Zimmer 1USD das Bier und Pepsi 3USD da lohnt es wenig den Stress einzugehen die Sachen auf der Straße zu kaufen wo man zwar nur etwa die Hälfte zahlt aber man durch die Hitze laufen, Geld in Peso wechseln usw. muss. Alles in allem eine gute Unterkunft, kein Hotel aber es fehlt nichts.
