We reserved a room 30 minutes before we got to Havelock. As soon as we pulled in the parking lot, we noticed rooms with torn curtains and, the hotel looked abandoned. We walked in and there was a sign saying no breakfast and, pool out of order. It smelled like mildew. We asked the manager to cancel the reservation and he refused. We didn’t stay there but, we were charged anyway. Do Not Reserve A Room There. Go see it for yourself

I picked this property because of the name and the pictures. It showed it had a pool and breakfast! Neither is true. People were blocking outdoor doors with stones. Which told me they didnt have access. The smell of weed all over the place inside and out. Basically we just slept there for one night!! As you check in there is a note no morning refunds. That should have been my first clue along with the paper on the desk that said no pool and No Breakfast!! Just really disapointed for what we paid for a night!

Wished I had read the reviews more carefully before booking this place. Both Expedia and Wyndam Hotels you really need to do more extensive background information on the hotels you advertise. I walked into the building and could smell an old, rundown facility. Due to your false advertising - pool and breakfast is NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Luckily I was able to get my reservation cancelled at the facility.

Not a good hotel. We were very disappointed in the way it is. No pool open and no breakfast included. We stayed there years ago and it was much better kept up. We had to up stairs to get to our room because of no elevator.

There was no breakfast as stated. Staff stated Expedia doesn't have accurate pricing info so they attempted to charge me for my son when the listing say kids stay for free. Window sheers were torn. Pool wasn't open either. Windows in lobby were dirty and staff were very unpleasant.

This hotel was very dirty. Our rooms air conditioner was broken but we were assured it would be fixed the next day since we were staying two nights. It was not touched. The floor had clearly not been swept. Hair and debris from previous guests were still visible. Pool was broke. Breakfast was not available.

Highly disappointed
The website said there was a continental breakfast, pool, etc… Non of that was available. The room was not ready at 4:45 pm when I arrived. I came back at 6:30 pm or so and the floors were still extremely wet. The furniture had broken drawers and there was no basic things in the bathroom like soap, shampoo and such. When I took a shower the water would not drain and did not drain for several hours after I showered. When I arrived to the room the room was extremely hot and the air conditioning was off. After I turned the air conditioning on the floor dried finally. Lots of people comming and going all evening without key cards, they kept putting a rock in the door and leaving it open. Not a real safe environment. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know.
