Lovely staff and good hotel. Only thing I was a little disappointed with was the location to thee centre of Heidlberg. When I booked it, it looked much closer to the river and shops than it actually was. A 15-20 minute walk for someone with mobility issues was a bit of an ordeal. Other than that, everything was great

It's located within walking distance from Heidelberg HBF making it convenient, but it can get noisy and feel unsafe at night. While the noise and the slightly dated facilities might not appeal to everyone, the exceptional staff more than make up for these shortcomings.

Great location, but homeless with dogs in the park across the street created quite a bit of noise one night. We enjoyed the close proximity to the grocery store and restaurants. The hotel elevator is quite old and small so only a max of 3 people can ride in it at once, and if you have luggage with you, it’ll be VERY crowded. Property doesn’t have air conditioning and the top floor, where we were staying, was very hot. The breakfast was good - plenty of options.
